(SB Nation Chicago, Steve Muma) Free agent point guard Nate Robinson is likely to sign a contract with the Chicago Bulls, according to his agent. Sports Illustrated's Sam Amick with the report:
Back from vacation & free agency continues: the agent for Nate Robinson, Aaron Goodwin, says the veteran point guard will sign with Chicago today "barring unforeseen problems."
Rumors regarding Robinson's possible signing with Chicago began making the rounds earlier in the afternoon on Monday, perhaps stemming from this tweet.
Robinson averaged 11.2 points and 4.5 assists per game for the Golden State Warriors during the 2011-12 season. The seven-year NBA veteran has played for the Knicks, Celtics and Thunder, in addition to the Warriors.
