Trade idea that sends Boozer to Cleveland

Ok, so I know that this idea I'm about to put forth is highly unlikely, but seeing that the Bulls activity so far this offseason has been less than sedintary I thought I'd toss this idea out there. Plus most of the threads on Blogabull usually contain some sort of Boozer related tagent that has nothing to do with the post anyways, so let this be a safe haven for all you Boozer bashers or those of you who wear a #5 jersey and ask for things by shouting "Give me that $hit!".

The Cavs currently only have around 33 million dollars on the Books for next year and 14.6 for the following year. The only time I've heard their name at all so far this offseason was being a third party to facilitate a Dwight Howard to Brooklyn trade. So needless to say they aren't big players in the Free Agent Market.

I propose sending Boozer to Cleveland for Omri Caspri and a 2nd round pick. Cleveland can absorb the bulk of Boozer's contract since they're well under the Cap and we shed about 13 million dollars this year which frees up money to extend Taj, resign Asik, go after a shot creating SG, rebuild the Bench Mob with quality players, etc. So those are the advantages for us. And although Caspri isn't a game changer, he does give us a decent perimiter shooting wing with some length, which we could use right now. Plus he's an expiring contract, so it would only be a one year rental with minimal financial commitment and risk.

What advantage does it serve for the Cavs? Maybe not much, but it would add a solid veteran presence (laugh if you want, but I'm sure the Cavs could use a guy who averages 15 pts and 8 rebs a game and shoots around 53% from the field) to pair with Irving and the youth movement currently going on in Cleveland. It would probably improve the team slightly, but still allow them to continue to rebuild via the draft. And they would still have financial flexibility to add a max contract or quality rotation players to pair with Irving and Boozer. And Boozer would be off the books in time for Cleveland to extend Irving. Plus since they're located on/near a Lake they could replace that "We are all Witnesses" banner with "Get on the Booz Cruise! (so you can send it down into Lake Erie)".
