Yet more speculative evidence of Bulls tax-dodging from KC Johnson

Won't put this out front since I've piled on enough. Just passing it along (via Bulls101):

The Bulls have given no official word to the camps of Brewer, C.J. Watson or Kyle Korver regarding their team options, which carry a July 10 deadline. But management has given signs they are pursuing less expensive options, discussing internally the prospect of re-signing John Lucas III as an alternative to Watson. A draft pick also could plug the point-guard hole until Rose returns from knee surgery.

Watson has begun workouts after having shock wave therapy to address plantar fasciitis in both feet. His option is for $3.2 million.

Korver, who quietly battled a foot injury so severe that he couldn't play much in the season-ending Game 6 loss to the 76ers and had to wear a walking boot, has a $5 million option. Brewer's is for $4.37 million. None of the three are confident they will return.

"At point guard, from wherever the fuck he's from, John Lucas the Third!"
