Seeing that I'm realatively new to the BaB community, forgive me if this subject has been kicked around in the past but here's 2 quick trade ideas about trying to get Dwight Howard to Chicago.
1. Bulls offer Noah and Boozer for Howard and spare parts.
2. Bulls offer Noah and the three Expiring contracts for Howard and spare parts.
Joakim is my favorite player on this current Bulls team, but Howard (headcase that he may be) is an upgrade at center. I'll say that I'm only for this if Howard agrees to a sign and trade, but if it works, Bulls get their legit 2nd scoring option to pair with Rose, a true post presence, and will still be one of the best defensive teams in the league. Also, Howard can easily carry the scoring load in Rose's absence, as well as keeps the Bulls among the top 4 Eastern Conference teams.
Orlando only has two players locked in after this next season (Davis and Richardson) those who can become Free Agents may move on, and Orlando's ownership may decide to blow things up and Noah and Boozer could be two good pieces to start building back up with. Or if they went with option 2 they would still have Noah to build with and a ton of financial flexibility to go after quality Free Agents.
Contingencies I see with this are:
A) Orlando has to be pretty sure Howard won't resign with them (and Howard has to agree to sign-n-trade) and
B) someone has to convince Howard that Brooklyn gets just as cold as Chicago.
