Bulls vs. Sixers, 2012 NBA Playoffs: Bulls blow late 14-point lead, fall 2-1 after Game 3

Stay connected for news and updates

Bulls defense was hyper and effective for three strong quarters, as was the Sixers'. The Bulls led by as many as 14 and lost 79-74 to trail Philly in the seven-game series 2-1 after Game 3.

Joakim Noah rolled his ankle in the third quarter and the defense began having no anchor. The rotations were frantic and all help was isolated to the interior.

With 9:35 left in the game, the Bulls went up 69-56.

Then, Philly went on a 19-2 run, as the Bulls couldn't run a halfcourt offense to, well, save themselves.

No word on the severity of Noah's ankle. Taj Gibson seemed to take a shot to the knee that noticeably slowed him down, as well.

Game 4 is Sunday at 12:00 p.m. CST in Philadelphia.
