Kirk Hinrich and his upcoming free agency, which K.C. could not resist commenting on.

In a tweet that was sent out 4 minutes before I began writing this (yes, us Bulls fans ARE everywhere), K.C. Johnson provided a link to his latest article. The article, while truly unimportant at the moment, explored the chances of Kirk Hinrich returning to the Bulls next season. Hinrich himself seemed at the very least open to the idea.
"I wouldn't be opposed to [returning]," Hinrich said. "It's still a ways away, and a lot can happen. We'll see. I have no preconceived thoughts on what will happen."
Is this something we would want? K.C. wrote that Hinrich would have to "accept a hometown discount". My problem lies more with the fact that K.C. just HAD to rouse all the Hinrich fanatics, but I guess I wouldn't be totally opposed to the idea, either. Unless it ruins our chances of signing CDR...then, I would have a problem.
