The Chicago Bulls could pair the premier center in the league with the 2010 MVP, Derrick Rose, but would they make such a blockbuster move after dominating the NBA last regular season? If Chicago can pull off the heist of Howard and keep Noah to pair with Rose, they would certainly be the favorites to win the Championship next season and beyond.

Should I say it?

Supporter of Carlos Austin Boozer, and I don't want to see Dwight Howard in a Bulls uniform. Call me crazy.

yes.

tell us why you dont want the best center in the league

Shaq's an idiot too. Hear him on tv these days?

Telling me you wouldn’t have wanted Shaq for the last decade just cause he’s a clown?
Dumb argument

Couple things...

A. Shaq was waaaay better than D12 will ever be. Shaq and Kobe should have won so many more titles than they did, but their egos got in the way. Dwight is an ever bigger idiot than Shaq ever was IMO. There’s a certain kind of player that is generally on championship teams, and the Bulls have all those players. When someone like Dwight (the polar opposite) is thrown in, it probably won’t go over well.

I do agree

That Dwight is dumber than Shaq, otherwise he wouldn’t consider the fucking Nets if he cares so much about winning

if someone offers you lebron james you dont turn him down because hes a clown.

hes still the fucking best player in the league.
dwight is the second best player after that.

Actually

I’d turn down LeBitch. Simply because he’s a prick and I hate his fucking guts…And because he’s lebitch because I hate him that much and enjoy him failing all the damn time….Dwight is dumb and annoying but i dont hate him.

i mean i think everyone here shares the same feelings toward lebron and might say that but we all know itd be a dumb move to turn down lebron if we were offered. its the same for dwight

by sin on Feb 4, 2012 12:50 AM CST up reply actions

It's not the same for Dwight

If he agrees to sign with us im for it (As long as we find a way to keep deng but if not, fuck I’ll miss deng greatly but still have dwight)…I think with logic mostly. But like I said, im against anything and everything regarding lebitch coming here, I was timidly open when he was a FA, and now it pisses me the fuck off that I even felt that way only for him to piss on us for that possiblity. So if there was some kind of outlandish way of trading for ledouche I’m against it…Why? Because I hate his guts I rather see Rose win 1 title than ledick winning 5 for us….Fucking hate that fucktard. So yeah, im a fucking idiot since I dont want ledickweed anywhere near chicago unless we kick their asses back to the fucking cesspool known as miami…

If the Bulls were 13-12, I'd do it.

But they’re 19-6, first in the East, and second in the NBA. They are a VERY good team, and they all mesh together, and that’s a HUGE plus. There’s no need for Dwight.

I think you'd have to agree that having a great record is a very positive sign.

A great record doesn’t guarrantee anything of course, but it’s not exactly meaningless either. Regardless of what happened last year, it’s still an indicator that they are an elite team. Especially when you take the injury situation and road heavy schedule into account.

In fact, I would say that inspite of the injuries and schedule, the Bulls are actually UNDERACHIEVING in going 19-6. Several players are playing at levels below what they’d normally do, and I don’t believe they have a single player that is overachieving in any way whatsoever. This team is as good as anybody if they’re healthy(yes even Miami and the Knicks).

I do agree with your premise that the team can be improved, and if possible should be. I’m a greedy bastard and want the Bulls to win every game. If the Bulls can get Howard for a reasonable price, and he’ll agree to re-sign with the Bulls, that would be great.

Get ready for that 7th banner Chicago...it's '90-'91 all over again!

As for Jo, he’s an idiot because he takes everything VERY seriously, and he kinda looks like an idiot too. Make sense?

dwight doesnt take things seriously?

where do you get this? jsut because he goofs off during games?

have you seen him after playoff losses? after he lost in the finals he made jameer sit with him on the court and watch the celebration because he was so mad about getting his ass kicked.

seriously just because he likes to fuck around during games doesnt mean hes an idiot.

he takes losing hard just like anyone else and he plays hard. you dont get 20/15 on accident

By popular demand I am putting a moratorium on the Melo talk until the Knicks win the title in June.

by sin on Feb 4, 2012 2:07 PM CST up reply actions

He should get 20-15 in his sleep.

He’s a beast. Dwight has such a physical mismatch against almost any center that opposes him that if anything he should be MORE dominant.

I remember at the All-star game festivities a couple years back, Dwight set some kind of record for hitting seated half court shots. He was asked about how he had gotten so good at that shot, and he stated something to the effect that he practices that shot all the time. Meanwhile, his inability to shoot a useful shot like a freethrow or a 12 foot jumper hurts his team and holds him back from being the best player in the league.

Sure he no doubt practices free throws more than useless trick shots, but his being better at seated midcourt shots than free throws says something about his focus and character I think.

no one gets stats in their sleep

How often do we see freakish athletes (ie. tyrus ) not pan out because they precisely think they can do things sleepwalking cause they have such amazing athletic capabilities

I was engaging in a bit of hyperbole.

Just making the point that wrigleyrocker12 has a legit point, even though I wouldn’t go nearly as far as he is.

Dwight Howard has no physical weaknesses. He’s too strong for big guys to push him around, too fast for smaller guys to beat with quickness, etc. Though Tyrus is a great athlete, he’s skinny as a rail, and can’t dominate opponents through sheer physical superiority like Howard can and does. No doubt you were also engaging in hyperbole by comparing the two.

And didn't shoot long two's anymore

Nice promo and all, but it seems like every time somebody does one that player ends

up going somewhere else(Lebron last year). So I’m assuming Dwight is gonna end up on some team nobody really expected……..the Nuggets. I’m just pulling a random team.

During that whole summer free agency bonanza, those are the only ones that were really

posted/made. I haven’t seen other promos for FA’s. It’s only done when it’s a megastar, or the players have already signed. If you know of other promo’s that have come to fruition then I’d love to see them. I have no problem with promo vids, I was just making an observation on the ones that I’ve seen. I hope we do get Dwight though.

On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
