Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

"As long as everything goes good once he gets on the floor," Forman said on "The Waddle & Silvy Show" on ESPN 1000. "He looked a lot better yesterday, and he's pain free. So as long as he's feeling OK there's a chance he'll be on the floor today."

NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want him sitting until he’s 100% healthy. I’d rather him sit out the ASG than risk making this worse than it already is. If we lose a couple between now and then, so be it. The goal for this year is effectively 50-55 wins. And we’re well on track for that. No one game is more important than the playoffs. And we’re effectively an auto-in this year.

SIT, DERRICK, SIT!!!

what if he is 100% healthy?

or maybe there isn’t such a thing, heh. there’s no evidence that him playing today is going to make it worse, if he’s pain free and feeling much better.

Look
I didn’t want to offend anyone by saying the "f" word or generalizing my statement to any particular sex by saying "gays" or lesbians" or "bi’s" so "homos" is the most "politically correct" term. I’m just trying to be more tact in a tactless blog.

exactly my thoughts...

if his back is fine now, then there’s just as much probability he injures it after the all star game (knock on wood). I feel comfortable trusting that if he plays then he should be playing.

I'm getting too old for this shit...

Update from KC

K.C Johnson @KCJHoop
DRose is gametime vs. ATL. Rip, CJ out. CJ has migraine. DRose has been cleared by trainers. So barring warmup setback, he’s in. #Bulls

CJ has a migraine?

Maybe Thibs should stop making him watch tapes of his last few games…

What's with all the people saying no don't play?

How do you know he isn’t 100% healthy (or as healthy as he’s going to get)? Perhaps he could have actually come back against NJ but chose to sit to be on the safe side. If the dude is pain free, he should play.

Also, we might be forgetting that some of the best in season conditioning you get comes from playing in games. If he sits too long, it will take longer for him to get his game shape back up to snuff.

KC again

K.C Johnson @KCJHoop
Get me rewrite. CJ had migraine Saturday. Mightve suffered mild concussion and league’s concussion policy applies. #Bulls

Sounds like CJ has to sit out since he had migraine after getting whacked in the head.

CJ got hit in the head?

I didn’t really focus on the game, I was at a party, but didn’t Deng get hit on the head?

Supporter of Carlos Austin Boozer, and I don't want to see Dwight Howard in a Bulls uniform. Call me crazy.

CJ barely got touched on that play, no way there was a concussion there.

I dunno what’s going on here, but that play was definitely a flop.

how the fuck do you know?

he clearly hit humpries’ arm, it wasn’t the chest hit that got him.

he prob did flop a bit, but you have no way to know that he barely got touched there.
