Bulls need to rent our a hyperbolic time chamber

then they’d have time to freakin practice and work out these kinks

And Deng saw the three's, that they were good

people were bitching about brooks but the way i see it, i think this organization rather have an experienced SG like rip

by Geo4MVP on Feb 2, 2012 9:15 PM CST up reply actions

The way I see it

I’m worried about 2011 not 2013. Plus Brooks is proving he can play in the league. Mitrioc is still a wait and see situation no matter what he does in Europe. You coulda had Rip, Butler and a young prospect in Brooks.

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

by Dils on Feb 2, 2012 9:19 PM CST up reply actions

I really like his game.

Good feet and hands on D, solid knack for getting to the line, decent all around skills offensively. I wouldn’t be suprised if he got a couple starts at the 2 with Hamilton all banged up. Ok, I would be kind of surprised, but not shocked.

by dakoose on Feb 2, 2012 9:13 PM CST up reply actions

Im just waiting for the Knicks to revert back to chuckin threes outside of the flow of the offense, it has to be coming, but Amare is locked in--if they were smart just feed him

and get a good shot right at the rim and usually get fouled—best in the game at this.

There was a shot at the end where there was like four guys right on his ass

He had Noah for an easy dump off. He just has to trust his passing a little bit more. It’s been drilled into his head that turnovers are the devil, which is true, but at some point you just have to trust your instincts

Yeah, I agree that is the next step...

but when he gets into attack mode it has to be tough when he can get a good shot every time or at least a close one. The Bulls do have some good spot up shooters (Lu when he gets back) and Rose has done it before with setting them up at the end of games last year. As you said just needs to trust.

Part of me wants Deng to take his time getting healthy

even though I know he won’t fully heal without surgery. I think this stretch is forcing Thibs to use Jimmy more and, although I don’t think Jimmy can replace Deng, it’s really good for him to get some experience and gain some confidence.

My current conspiracy theory (cuz you always gotta have at least one)

Is that Adidas told Howard to expand his list. When Howard made his list LA or New Jersey, he pissed off a lot of fans in the other cities. Fans that may no longer buy his shoes. Therefore, Adidas politely asked him to expand his list even if he isn’t seriously considering them, allowing Howard’s brand access back into those cities.

its kinda late for post game thoughts but....

first, i think boozer and korver cannot start at the same time. Deng will be back by next game hopefully, but knicks did a good job in the 1st and 3rd isolating both korver and boozer to the same side of the floor and leaving melo and amare on that side of the floor. If it wasnt that korver and boozer were getting the points right back on the other side i think we would have been in a hole early on.

Its pretty disgusting at how inept the bulls are when rose cant ball handle. We have a bunch of guys good at moving without the ball, but no one who can actually move with it. Cj was the second best ball handler and the knicks were able to force his hand well by trapping him and then trapping rose. Rose is decent moving without the ball but due to his size, he really ends up circling back to the top of the key, and cj isnt very good at moving without the ball.

The trap will not work when deng and rip are in the game, mainly because both are good at hitting spot up shots or taking the ball to the hole with rip also being able to pass well out of the drive. Still its a shame that rose is given so much responsiblity, as well as ice the game near the end. Its tough. The fact that he still found a way to get more than 10 assists in this game is shocking to me.

I hate how just like last year, the bulls are sort of in this limbo where we still have no idea how good they can be. I do like though that right now they are pretty close to their worse in the last two years, and they seemed to play the knicks best (brooks was decent on defense, amare and melo both had great numbers while even landry fields found a way to go off a bit) and the bulls still won.I also think the bulls have had the least amount of practice compared to any other team in the league. I count one day of real practice thus far this season…thanks stern

its just been unfortunate circumstances for the bulls

however, ill tell u one thing, when rip and deng are healthy, our looks smooth as hell. And this is with MINIMAL practice time and playing with rip included. This is very encouraging and I believe the bulls can def improve more once rip and deng return. the schedule should become more loose by march and thats when the bulls should def be more relaxed heading into the playoffs. So yeah, we can shit on the NBA schedule makers all we want, but the early frontloaded schedule may play to our favor towards the end of the season.
