So on my lunch break, I played around and looked for guys who have played big minutes this year (>20mpg and 200 total), while posting bad numbers (PER <11 and ORtg <100). Since PER penalizes low usage players, having ORtg in there too offsets that. Here's the list. I excluded rookies, but it's worth knowing that Bradley Beal, Austin Rivers, and Tyler Zeller have all been pretty bad and would have made the list. Anyway, here's your all crappy team:
PG- Kirk Hinrich
SG- Courtney Lee
SF- Michael Beasley, Gerald Green
PF- Jeff Green
PF- Ersan Illysova
I picked as the obvious LVPs so far because not only have they been terrible, they all just signed big new free agent contracts (all except Illysova are new to their teams... sort of, since Green was out forever with his heart issue).
I think the obvious point to all of this is that free agency is a very hit or miss sort of thing.
Other guys on the list basically fall into a couple categories. One is young players thrust into a bigger than expected role: Darius Morris, E'Twan Moore. And then old guys who are at the end of the road: John Salmons, Stephen Jackson, Jamaal Tinsley.
I can't figure out Klay Thompson, who looked very promising as a rookie but has played like garbage this year.
