Presumably we can now engage in a heated discussion about ESPN hype always looking for a new target. But, in fairness, Irving has a great handle and shoots 40% from 3 so I can't actually go ahead say ESPN is certainly wrong although I hope they are.

The thing this really underscores I think, is that Rose is not so much better than anyone else at his position that he can lead a mediocre team to the finals. The Bulls would need to surround Rose with good players, and so far their plans for the future consist of starting Kirk at SG in 2013 and replacing Luol Deng with someone about as good as Luol Deng in 2014.
