Chicago Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau revealed the team's planned starting lineup for the upcoming season. There are really no surprises.
In a somewhat surprise move from the usually cryptic Tom Thibodeau, the Bulls' coach announced the team's planned starting lineup for the upcoming season. What's not a surprise is who's actually in that lineup (via the Chicago Tribune):
"We're starting off with Kirk, Rip, Lu, Carlos and Joakim," the Bulls coach said. "We're still getting a read on things. We'll look at some different stuff in the preseason to see what makes the most sense."
This was definitely the group most people figured would start the year, and there really shouldn't be that much of an argument. Matt did point out on Twitter that one could possibly argue that Richard Hamilton shouldn't be so entitled to a starting role, but to start things off, it makes sense for him to get the nod.
The Bulls open preseason play against the Grizzlies next Tuesday.
