Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was a full participant in practice on Monday and hopes to play in the season opener on Wednesday against the Sacramento Kings.
[Note by your friendly BullsBlogger, 2:30pm: For his part, Hinrich says that as long as there are no setbacks he plans on playing Wednesday. ]

Hinrich went through all of practice. Thibs is hopeful he'll play Wed.

If Hinrich truly was a full participant, I have to imagine he plays on Wednesday, at the very least in a somewhat reduced role. And I sure hope he does play, because I really don't want to see only Nate Robinson and Marquis Teague available at the point. Sure Robinson has looked good, but Teague scares me. And to think I was a proponent of Teague getting significant time this year.
