Bulls Training Camp 2012: Team releases official camp roster

Jim O'Connor-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

The Chicago Bulls announced the addition of five new players to their training camp roster.

With Bulls Media Day upon us, the team officially announced the signing of five new players to round out their training camp roster. To go along with the previously reported names of Andre Emmett and Kyrylo Fesenko, the Bulls signed Marko Jaric, Ryan Allen and Vance Cooksey.

Jaric is the most familiar name among these three others guys, with seven NBA seasons under his belt. He's been playing overseas for the past few years, having not played in the NBA since the 2008-09 campaign.

Allen is a 6-3 rookie out of UW-Milwaukee, and he's actually the brother of Grizzlies guard and Twitter goofball Tony Allen. He earned Horizon League All-Defensive Team honors last season.

Cooksey is a 6-0 guard who spent last season in the D-League.

It's interesting to note that four of these guys are guards, with Fesenko being the lone big invited to camp. It's also important to remember that none of these guys can actually make the regular season roster unless Nate Robinson is cut or a trade is made. I doubt this happens, so the Bulls would have to wait until late November to sign one of these guys to an official deal.
