When asked after the game, and in light of Rose’s performance, about the difficulties of developing decision-making as a point guard (when to look for yourself, when to look for teammates), Wall said, "It’s not hard when you got guys like Kyle Korver that can make shots, and you can run off down screens and a guy like Carlos Boozer that can pick-and-pop, and Luol Deng and guys you can run plays for that make shots and create their own shots, it’s kind of easy."

So Derrick has it easier? Maybe, but when those shots don't fall and no one can cut to
the basket or make plays for themselves and defenses key in on him, Derrick still finds a way to get it done. I understand his point, especially considering who he has to pass to, but let’s not make it out like it’s a cake walk for Derrick.
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.

Instead of saying
I need to improve my passing, my shooting and my decision making…
he says this…and shits all over his teammates (who really aren’t that good)

heres the thing
if you switch derrick rose and wall, yes, wall would find more success (wins) with the bulls, but you know what, the wizards would find more success with rose as well. Flip saunders when leaving the wizards suggested that wall could be a great player, he just needed to be wanted to be coached. With rose his personality is the complete opposite. He would’ve done everything flip wanted, he wouldve worked, and his team mates would probably have followed him more. The difference between rose and wall begins with their personalities.
Its not that wall doesnt want to win as bad as rose, or isnt as hard a worker, but rose since day one has always had this seriousness about him, and his drive to be better. Guys like mcgee and young, they wouldve followed roses example and work ethic.
Wall can talk about roses team mates being better than his all he wants, at the end of the day, rose is better than all his team mates and leads them, wall cant even lead his team of scrubs.

Roses decison making still was better than yours with lesser teamates you bum ass punk.

To be honest, there are more players on the Wizards that can create their own shot(Young, Crawford)….it’s usually a ill-advised shot however

That's exactly what I was thinking
When I read this sentence…..
….and Luol Deng and guys you can run plays for that make shots and create their own shots, it’s kind of easy
I was like….you do realize you play on a team filled with players that can create their own shot? If our guys could create their own shot then why weren’t they creating when you guys started double teaming Rose?
Serious John, just shut up please.

What a douche
Even if what he says here was true, you just don’t throw your teammates under the bus like that.

please, dont even compare to lewis to booz
lewis is by far one of the most overpaid players ever to play the game.
I was at last night's game
AT LEAST half the crowd was wearing Bulls gear. The three d-bag fratties sitting next to me were complaining cuz the entire rest of the section was cheering for the Bulls. And for Nick Young to keep shooting. And for Rashard Lewis to earn his $21 million. And for Noah to keep hitting Korver in the corner, over and over.
My DC friends are actual basketball fans with actual season tickets, and have basically stopped going to games or caring about the NBA this season. And they all think Wall isn’t really much of a basketball player, and every one of them is a Derrick Rose fan. These are people who grew up rooting for the Bullets, fercrissakes.
i'm hot for teacher
You know what else was easy?
When Rose did this. How many times did he go past YOU an your whole team?
Losing makes people say stupid things after more proof is added that they're losers.
Someone should send Wall the memo he’s miles behind a certain #1 draft pick, playing point guard in the Central Division right now; and I’m talking about Kyrie Irving, not Rose. Wall’s decision-making, regardless of the players surrounding him, is bad. Rose had to learn to incorporate more gears into his game, too, the better talent has definitely aided in his evolution, and a stellar head coach has expedited that evolution. But all things being equal, right now, would Wall be better than the fourth-best point guard in the Central Division? Would that be an insult to Rodney Stuckey?
I’m a fan of Wall. He has a fun personality, a lot of talent, is fun to watch (at the moment, because he only plays in one gear), but just doesn’t have the basketball I.Q. (yet) properly utilize those skills — and that’s O.K. There shouldn’t be a question (also, yet) as to whether or not he’ll eventually be a top ten point guard in the NBA. But until he is, he better not create diversions when his decision-making comes into question. Or he’ll never get there.
That said, the comment was a bit shocking to read. It’s probably best to just chalk this up under “dumb things players on losing teams after getting their ass kicked say”, and that’s fair. But a first step in better decision-making for a leader of any sort may be to better decide when to chow down on a slice of humble pie when you’re bad.
