still not good
gotta be in the top 10 to have a shot to the finals.
Nice try Westbrick, er.......Westbrook
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
Beasley did his best Kevin Martin impression today.

Didn't Blake start "Lob City"?
WOULD HAVE WOULD HAVE
If you lived closer I would have kicked the snot out of you by now
Matt Moore. That is all.

I think it was DeAndre Jordan
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
Nope was Blake.

WOW....what a 3pt shooting display
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
WOW, 4 straight 3s in less than a minute.
And OKC thought they were closing in…

i don't think OKC is on Miami or Chicago's level
they don’t play good enough D. Not just going off this 1st half, but in general. Plus they get no scoring from any of their inside guys. Teams should be trapping Durant and the human turnover all game.
by Basketball Smurf on Jan 30, 2012 10:46 PM CST reply actions
yeah, perkins is overrated
ibaka is damn good defender but after that they odnt have much defense. Durant can be good, but i never heard about him as a great defender.
since westbrick is signed to a big contract, they should try getting a big man for harden
cause i jus dont see how westbrook and harden can co-exist.
Well it's not like they run a half-court offense anyway.
It’s just Durant running off screens and Westbrook adlibbing.

exactly, hence, why i think harden is expendable
not to knock on his value though, hes a terrific ball player.
Harden for Boozer!
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
oh man, i would soooooooo do that
harden and rose combo=championship!
get it done!!!
"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."

no way
harden is as good as westbrook. He may be the top young SG in the league
by Basketball Smurf on Jan 30, 2012 11:00 PM CST up reply actions
the prob is westbrook
he has a very high USG rate along with Durant. What room does it leave Harden if those two guys puttin up majority of the shots.
jennings, leuer and a 1st for westbrook.
who says “no” first?
p.s.: ignore the extension stuff for now.

no way would I trade Westbrook for that little.
by Basketball Smurf on Jan 30, 2012 11:26 PM CST up reply actions
cool. i find myself having a really hard time figuring out what westbrooks perceived value is
across the league.

he is not as good as westbrook
i hate westbrook and like harden, but i can even admit he’s much better than harden.

At least from an offensive standpoint
the numbers seriously beg to differ. And I think Westbrook is a severely overrated defender. Has all the tools, but plays way too overzealous.

pick and roll
blake caught it in stride went up, perkins attempted to block the shot / push him in the chest – blake absorbs the contact, gets more air, and spikes it down. Perkins soul died

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!
Yeah, I envy teams that have multiple threats from 3pt land, and another ball handler

“spirit gun!”
It was a great series
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
yup, its def one of the greatest anime series...
ill put that up around the top 5 alongside code geass and deathnote.
Never watched code geass, but I loved Deathnote. L was my favorite character,
sucked what happened to him though.
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
yeah, L is def one of the greatest anime characters made alongside with lelouch from code geass
i highly recommend watching code geass. By far, one of the greatest anime of all time, if not, the best anime of all time.
Yeah, I'll definitely give it a watch, I've heard a lot of good things about it.
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
L is a pretty interesting character in some ways, but watching deathnote
drives home a lesson which should be obvious but apparently isnt: its really, really hard to write for a character who is a genius without simply making that character practically omniscient. you see examples of this all the time, especially in crime drama.

Chris Paul is destroying Russ Westbrook
dare I say, the Clips are looking pretty good
by Basketball Smurf on Jan 30, 2012 11:25 PM CST reply actions
Yeah
I don’t understand why they didn’t trade Westbrook for Paul. They already have one of the best SGs in the league in Harden. Hell even trade Westbrook for Howard and go after a decent PG instead. I don’t get that.
Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!
26 assists to 38 baskets for the Clippers
11 to 30 for OKC. The outcome is obvious.

Westbrook and Harden played terrible tonight
westbrook’s numbers look okay, but he was a wreck getting OKC into their offense. He has 6 turnovers but also 6 near turnovers as well

clippers finally playing defese
coach paul influence is doing wonders!
thunder makin a small run
can they sustain it?
How does Del Negro keep getting coaching jobs. The offense these last few minutes
have been pretty turrible.

It's the hair...
I mean, it’s just gotta be the hair, right? No other logical explanation for that one.
OT: would it be considered a foul if Derrick threw the ball right at Lebron's face when they come to
trap him and Derrick tries to do his jump pass, but instead of trying to throw it above him, he throws it right in his face?
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
Wow, CP3 just took over.
Who’s supposed to be guarding him? Just curious.

u hear his comments about westbrook
he essentially said people shouldnt get on westbrook, hes a scoring pg. Then asks, why does no one get on derrick roses case? Well kp, theres this guy…durant…..pretty sure rose would love to pass to that guy

putting this here too, i just can't believe this
from sam’s column:
After Orlando scored 56 points last week in losing to Boston, Avery Bradley, not yet in the Hall of Fame, told NBA TV Nelson asked him not to play tough defense on him. “He seemed like he didn’t even want to bring the ball up,” Bradley said. “I looked at him and he kept telling me throughout the game, ‘You know what, don’t pick me up, don’t pick me up.’ And that’s when I knew, if I brought pressure, he didn’t want nothing to do with it.” Nelson had five points and five turnovers. So that’s what they’re saying out there.
