Did Bass just own Baby???
...and Stacey King is HILARIOUS. He's so funny, that I completely overlook the fact that he's gained 300lbs since his playing days.
Seriously.
Your offense is only as good as your bullpen.

b/c there is nothing concrete
The timetable is different if he decides on surgery. He is day-to-day if he doesn’t need surgery.
not talking about the treatment
but the injury itself

Lot of empty seats
I realize it’s the Nets, but come on- where’s the support?

And he used to get the boozer treatment
"Violence is not always the answer."
"Violence is the question, and the answers always YES!"
I was at the game
and was really surprised at how empty the place was! Super fun game nonetheless though. Gotto love those section 300 seats! haha
Butler
hopefully he can get some mins with bulls leading, would be great to get him used to actually playing in NBA
Hump outhustles Booz to the rebound

Our leader in steals
No! lol
"Violence is not always the answer."
"Violence is the question, and the answers always YES!"
amare doesnt rebound, defend or keep the ball flowing offensively. he is worse than worthless without an elite PnR PG holding his hand.he has a 15 PER
it is no exaggeration to say that i would not trade taj for STAT straight up even if money were no object.
"We would look at each other with a glint of recognition and one of us would say, 'So you worry about ASIK, too,' as if admitting a secret vice. Then we would share our crazy ideas-- because all ideas about ASIK that are not immediately wrong turn out to be crazy."
lol the whole Jerry Sloan Utah Jazz is present
except Kirilenko
Jo seems to have a lot of trouble throwing it down in traffic.
Has it always been like that for him?
Not to this extent, that I can remember.
I have nothing to substantiate this observation though, mind you.
It Was A Good Day
Works too well!
Just wakin up in the mornin’ gotta thank Taj
I don’t know but today seems kinda odd
No barking from the dog, no smog
And Boozer cooked the breakfast with no hog
Called up my homies and I’m axin y’all
Which parks Luol playin basketball?
No flexin, didn’t even look in a DWades direction
as I ran the intersection
Shake em up shake em up shake em up shake em
Rolling in a circle of Brewers and watch me break em
With the seven
Seven eleven
Seven eleven
Seven even back door Thibadeau
Today was like one of those fly dreams
Didn’t even see a berry flashing those Scalabrines
Even saw the lights of the Noah Blimp
And it read Asik’s a pimp
Drunk as hell but no throwing up
Half way home and my DRose still blowing up
Today I didn’t even have to use my Kyle K.
I got to say it was a good day.

I’ve liked Boozer on this 6pt, 6reb night better than on many of his 17,8 evenings. Better D, IMO.

Boozer doesnt like Scal getting so many assists.
Makes him look bad so he forces a bad pass to a less open player.

I know Lu is the glue and all, but out of our best players, I think he's the most dispensable
Not that I don’t think he’s incredibly valuable (particularly in the playoffs in guarding great players), but his offense has been very sub par, and you can win a lot of games offensively with the team that we’ll throw out there without him
Also doesn’t hurt that we’re stacked at his position

Not the case at all
I specifically said that “during the regular season” he’s “the most dispensable, of our BEST players”. Not sure how that’s a huge knock. I just think that out of Jo, Derrick, Boozer and Rip, Lu is the guy that can get hurt for a period of time, and we’d notice the least slippage. It will still hurt a ton, and if he’s out for the season, its a killer. Don’t see how that’s a very critical statement. I think people are a little too touchy sometimes

Disagree completely
I mean, we are 16-3 in games where Boozer and Noah didn’t show up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuQ7e_IFGJs&feature=related

And Thibs said, Let there be three's, and Deng shot threes
And Deng saw the three's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long two's anymore

I know exactly what Thibs was thinking playing his starters at the end but it's so risky.
He’s playing with fire and it’s going to screw the team over. Rose complained of fatigue after the Miami series and has a chronic toe injury. Noah and Boozer are perpetually hurt, Hamilton is old, Deng may be seriously hurt.
It’s a Monday night game against the Nets. The offense looked good for 3.5 quarters, you don’t need another 4 minutes to prove that the starters can mesh.
Thibs is a basketball genius but dude needs to learn sooner or later coaches can’t treat each game with life or death intensity.

It bothers me that the front office doesn't `choose to have a say with injuries.
I can understand staying out of other areas. Injuries, it ssems to me, is a legitimate area of concern for the front office.
He took his what to where?!
What's funny is that Thibs is coming from Boston, and Doc is probably the best in the league at knowing when to push, and rest his players
Sadly, my self worth is almost entirely based upon the outcome of the previous night's Bulls game.

Doc had the same issues their first title year but yeah he adapted pretty quickly.
At this point Thibs should be close enough with his best players to kind of realize when players need rest whether they ask for it or not. Of course Rose wants to play through it all, but that doesn’t make it ok to keep him out there.

man im trying to find it but having no success
i believe it was this espn editorial story, like 3 pages all about thibs and his background. At one poiint it talks about tom as an assistant to doc rivers, i believe in the story the celtics are losing, by 12 with 8 minutes left to go, and thibs is kinda yelling at the starters, big 3 namely, to play defense and stuff, and doc eventually calls a timeout. Thibs if i remember right had this gameplan set that would bring them back, and doc says no, i think im gonna sit them. And he does, and the celtics end up losing that game, but then they played a real good team (i dont remember) the next game and they absolutely destroyed them….
Basically doc recalls that story and suggests that sometimes thibs gets so into imagining the plays and scouting reports that he forgets the idea that the players are human, and that a little rest can go a long way….
The story basically then has a line for thibs who says he considers that moment the day he realized he wasnt ready to coach, and thats why he remained a celtics assistant for another two years. He suggests he lacked docs insight
Im thinking someone needs to remind thibs of that story….
damn i wish i could remember the link

...and Stacey King is HILARIOUS. He's so funny, that I completely overlook the fact that he's gained 300lbs since his playing days.

Boston is getting better, but I still don't think they're gonna be a real threat at the end of the year
Pierce is coming around, I think there might be something to the idea that a few of their guys weren’t ready for the season. That being said, Orlando still played like absolute shit

Fluke game.
No Ray Allen or Rondo, Celtics went on a huge run (at one point 19-1, maybe even more than that but I turned away) and didn’t look back.
"Before the game, we all thought he’d get 20 (points)," Chicago’s Kyle Korver said. "We didn’t know he’d shoot 28." - speaking about JLIII
Wow, didn't even realize Rip played 42 minutes
We’re so fucked come playoff time

No worries....
No worries for the Bulls in this game. Even with all the injuries to key role players and potential Eastern Allstar Loul Deng the Bulls hadto much depth for the Nets. Most of the Bulls off the bench guys would be starters for the Nets. Rose seem to be back and running, not as explosive as a 100% Rose but he still got the job done.
