Go Bulls

And Happy Birthday Thibs!

And Thibs said, Let there be three's, and Deng shot threes
And Deng saw the three's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long two's anymore

by windycitywarrior on Jan 17, 2012 7:13 PM CST reply actions

Yup.

He went with patented off-arm push but thankfully he got away with it.

by dakoose on Jan 17, 2012 7:17 PM CST up reply actions

yeah, thats kind of harsh

i understand hating lebron, wade etc. But boozy? sure he can be an idiot sometimes, but hating him its kinda pushing it.

by Geo4MVP on Jan 17, 2012 7:20 PM CST up reply actions

He's a con man.

He sold Jo in that famous hotel lobby meeting singing sweet tunes about being committed to winning rings, then went ahead and missed two months and then sucked in the playoffs. This past offseason, he declared this season the year of redemption where he would quiet his haters and now his haters have more fodder than they even did last season.

He’s lazy and jacks J’s, chills on D. I hate when guys loaf on the court and talk a big game and then don’t back it up.

by dakoose on Jan 17, 2012 7:22 PM CST up reply actions

He didn't miss 2 months

He was hurt, no? And he’s not lazy on D, he just ain’t very good lol. Don’t know about being a con-man

by KCinIL on Jan 17, 2012 7:27 PM CST up reply actions

Jeez, can't even be happy when he DOES score

And Thibs said, Let there be three's, and Deng shot threes
And Deng saw the three's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long two's anymore

by windycitywarrior on Jan 17, 2012 7:19 PM CST up reply actions

Absolutely not.

He has 6 points, which is nice, but his man, who can’t score, has 5 already and he’s directly responsible for that 3 second violation. So he scored six, but gave up six. PAr for the course for him.

by dakoose on Jan 17, 2012 7:20 PM CST up reply actions

Aight, see your point

And Thibs said, Let there be three's, and Deng shot threes

Is this the only one? I’m new to the streaming thing since I just moved out to Chicago and don’t know if this is the best quality that can be found. If it is, that’s totally fine because it’s the Bulls and need to watch it. hahaha. Currently at DePaul’s student center watching it.

The shots are falling,

but this is not very good basketball. Our bigs already shot ~8 jumpers and there’s nothing at the rim. They’re gonna need to get out on the break and attack the hoop to win this game. Long two’s are not the way to go.

but he is a bit more active tonight

But he’s trying at least. I’m surprised to be honest.

Yes

That’s all we’ve said

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

by Dils on Jan 17, 2012 7:30 PM CST up reply actions

I'm being real,

his play was a net zero that quarter. Gortat and Nash spun him in circles on the PnR and he’s directly responsible for at least 10 PHO points. He’s scoring so I guess he’s an asset, but I wasn’t that impressed with his play.

by dakoose on Jan 17, 2012 7:32 PM CST up reply actions

I hear you

and I too believe that his defense is a liability but the least he can do is give an effort on offense so I’ll take it for now. You’ll see better D when Taj comes in

Hey Rose. I don't see the appeal!

by Dils on Jan 17, 2012 7:33 PM CST up reply actions

Yeah.

I can’t say that booz played badly, because he brought a bunch of scoring, but his D was like last season’s.

that was awful defense

Who doesn't Nash eat up though?

He’s still one of the best PGs in the game

by KCinIL on Jan 17, 2012 7:31 PM CST up reply actions

Well, he's at his scoring average already,

so I’d say he’s killing it MUCH more than he usually does.

well then you know that CJ is supposed to trail on a pick

and Boozer has to hedge when Nash hits the lane. Booz has gotten burned a few times by Nash.

The points are on the team, with Boozer being the reason Nash was open a few times.

Bulls are getting everything they weren't last night.

How much that is being at home and playing a poor defense you have to wonder. It is a little frustrating. Regardless I hope it continues through the second half.

It’s also amazing how big a difference it makes to get another scorer in there with Rip.

Probably a combination of being home and Phoenix's awful d

Plus the fact that they’re motivated after a tough loss. Also, I’m sure CJ being back and looking good, and Rip being back gives them more confidence
