Luck of the bounce and whistle tonight...

Every loose ball and call has gone your way tonight it seems. And if we could have hit a couple more wide open looks we normally make, this game is different. Deng is actually playing better than I’ve ever seen him play before. HIGHLY underrated IMO.

i see the bucks leapfrogging you guys. sorry.

by rainman1003 on Jan 13, 2012 9:32 PM CST up reply actions

So your answer to my bet challenge is NO??

Thought so. And it’s funny how this Bulls team has yet to win anything with its’ core group of players but you act like you are the defending champions. Are the Bulls a great team?? Yes. Can they play great D?? Yes. Are they still reliant on Derrick Rose too much?? Yes. Does a PG dominated offense ever have success in the playoffs?? No. Be real happy with your REGULAR SEASON win. It won’t mean a damn thing if you can’t win the title.

by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:42 PM CST up reply actions

You will not get out of the first round. THAT I'd bet on.

this is what rose does best

and dont worry, bulls have options besides rose. We got rip and deng and thatll be huge. Please, stfu and stop spewing bullcrap.

by Geo4MVP on Jan 13, 2012 9:44 PM CST up reply actions

Deng kinda...

Rip Hamilton?? Don’t get your hopes up. For Rip Hamilton to be as effective as possible, he needs to have a pass first PG who can get him the ball coming off the screens he runs around. Rose isn’t that style of a PG. If Rose isn’t attacking the rim, it takes away from the Bulls #1 strength. And don’t say something ridiculous either about Rose being some sort of great passer. He’s adequate but he’s a dominant scorer. Rip would be better with someone like Rondo, Nash, D-Will.

As for Deng, as I said earlier, he is HIGHLY underrated. But be honest, do you think he sniffs the same calls or non-calls against someone like Lebron, Melo, Durant in the playoffs that he got away with tonight??

by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:51 PM CST up reply actions

Rose draws 3 defenders every time he drives...you say Rip won't benefit from that?

Don’t act like you know this team or basketball, because your ignorance is showing.

"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."
- Carlos Boozer after cancelling an interview with a Sports Illustrated reporter because his wife was expecting him home.

by Brigade17 on Jan 13, 2012 9:53 PM CST up reply actions

LOL stop it...

I know more about the Bulls than you do. You can’t even accept the truth about your team, even when I give them some credit. Rip Hamilton isn’t close to the player he was when he was an all-star in Detroit. If you guys talk trash about superstars like PP, Ray, and KG being too old and falling off then what do you think Rip will look like?? Hamilton is already injured. And for someone who relies on his ability to run off multiple picks and screens, that is not a good thing.

by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:58 PM CST up reply actions

I have said nothing against your team. You do not see them for what they are - old and fragile.

We only expect Rip to hit open shots and keep the ball moving. We are not delusional like yourself; we know it’s all about Rose. The thing is…we don’t underestimate him. He’s going to have to lead us, hitting enough difficult shots to draw even more attention. After that, Boozer, Deng, Rip and others will have to hit the easy looks.

Rip will not be playing 30 minutes a game; I’d be suprised if he averages more than 25mpg for the season.

"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."

by Brigade17 on Jan 13, 2012 10:03 PM CST up reply actions

i think thibs will prob give him around that range dude

i think as the season goes on hell cut down the minutes, but it should be around 25 regardless

by Geo4MVP on Jan 13, 2012 10:05 PM CST up reply actions

Chauncey Billups is not a pass first PG so please stop talking.

And Deng won’t look this dominant against those guys because they can actually move, I’m pretty sure Paul Pierce is dead.

by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 9:54 PM CST up reply actions

Right now you are yes.

But when you get EVERY call all game, I would hope you can beat us. And every crap shot you threw up went down tonight while we had guys like Ray and PP miss wide open J’s. Wasn’t our night.

Well cj for sure does (I think he's a top 1-3 backup Pg)

We presume Rip will add a ton but too early just yet

Though on paper his shot making passing and running all over the court should be huge and is totally ignored nationally

The kid's out of this world. He's got Allen Iverson speed, Jason Kidd's vision, Chauncey Billups' shooting ability and Michael Jordan's athleticism. How do you guard that? - Pacers coach Frank Vogel.

by chowder on Jan 13, 2012 10:26 PM CST up reply actions

Oh so Joakim Noah is alive. Good to have him on the team.

Boozer played decent, Brewer and Deng were awesome, Rose was pretty bad for 2 quarters but he gets a pass because he owned that 4th quarter without really breaking a sweat.

Oh, and Rondo is just too much. Maybe instead of learning how to flop, he should have learned how to shoot or learned how to attack the basket with something besides the Eurostep.

by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 9:52 PM CST reply actions

Why

Once the big 3 retire he can languish in Boston with nobody decent to pass to. Then people can measure the difference.
