Luck of the bounce and whistle tonight...
Every loose ball and call has gone your way tonight it seems. And if we could have hit a couple more wide open looks we normally make, this game is different. Deng is actually playing better than I’ve ever seen him play before. HIGHLY underrated IMO.
sigh

this game is also different if Rose's foot is okay

I was too busy enjoying the bulls destroying your weakass team. sucks that they gave you even a bit of hope, huh? sorry about that.
Too slow, too jerky, too quirky, too Deng!
ooh so you're a badass now 'cuz you can make a bet online huh?
I say that you guys aren’t making the playoffs because your gm made terrible decisions, and you never had a plan past winning in ’08. now you guys are paying for it.
i see the bucks leapfrogging you guys. sorry.
Too slow, too jerky, too quirky, too Deng!
So your answer to my bet challenge is NO??
Thought so. And it’s funny how this Bulls team has yet to win anything with its’ core group of players but you act like you are the defending champions. Are the Bulls a great team?? Yes. Can they play great D?? Yes. Are they still reliant on Derrick Rose too much?? Yes. Does a PG dominated offense ever have success in the playoffs?? No. Be real happy with your REGULAR SEASON win. It won’t mean a damn thing if you can’t win the title.
by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:42 PM CST up reply actions
You will not get out of the first round. THAT I'd bet on.
"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."
- Carlos Boozer after cancelling an interview with a Sports Illustrated reporter because his wife was expecting him home.
this is what rose does best
and dont worry, bulls have options besides rose. We got rip and deng and thatll be huge. Please, stfu and stop spewing bullcrap.
Deng kinda...
Rip Hamilton?? Don’t get your hopes up. For Rip Hamilton to be as effective as possible, he needs to have a pass first PG who can get him the ball coming off the screens he runs around. Rose isn’t that style of a PG. If Rose isn’t attacking the rim, it takes away from the Bulls #1 strength. And don’t say something ridiculous either about Rose being some sort of great passer. He’s adequate but he’s a dominant scorer. Rip would be better with someone like Rondo, Nash, D-Will.
As for Deng, as I said earlier, he is HIGHLY underrated. But be honest, do you think he sniffs the same calls or non-calls against someone like Lebron, Melo, Durant in the playoffs that he got away with tonight??
by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:51 PM CST up reply actions
Rose draws 3 defenders every time he drives...you say Rip won't benefit from that?
Don’t act like you know this team or basketball, because your ignorance is showing.
"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."
- Carlos Boozer after cancelling an interview with a Sports Illustrated reporter because his wife was expecting him home.
LOL stop it...
I know more about the Bulls than you do. You can’t even accept the truth about your team, even when I give them some credit. Rip Hamilton isn’t close to the player he was when he was an all-star in Detroit. If you guys talk trash about superstars like PP, Ray, and KG being too old and falling off then what do you think Rip will look like?? Hamilton is already injured. And for someone who relies on his ability to run off multiple picks and screens, that is not a good thing.
by sexyscottish on Jan 13, 2012 9:58 PM CST up reply actions
I have said nothing against your team. You do not see them for what they are - old and fragile.
We only expect Rip to hit open shots and keep the ball moving. We are not delusional like yourself; we know it’s all about Rose. The thing is…we don’t underestimate him. He’s going to have to lead us, hitting enough difficult shots to draw even more attention. After that, Boozer, Deng, Rip and others will have to hit the easy looks.
Rip will not be playing 30 minutes a game; I’d be suprised if he averages more than 25mpg for the season.
"There are two ways to argue with a woman, and neither of them work."
- Carlos Boozer after cancelling an interview with a Sports Illustrated reporter because his wife was expecting him home.
i think thibs will prob give him around that range dude
i think as the season goes on hell cut down the minutes, but it should be around 25 regardless
Chauncey Billups is not a pass first PG so please stop talking.
And Deng won’t look this dominant against those guys because they can actually move, I’m pretty sure Paul Pierce is dead.

Why would they play the Knicks on MLK day?
by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 9:48 PM CST up reply actions
what, is that weird or something?
i just thought it usually ended up that way. i remember a lot of early knicks games.
by obnoxious american on Jan 13, 2012 9:50 PM CST up reply actions
we played the knicks early on xmas last year
but memphis is the one we get on mlk day. guess they want to give the bulls a history lesson lol.

it must not have been MLK day then
but don’t the bulls and knicks play a weird home and away back to back a lot, where one of the games is at like 11am?
by obnoxious american on Jan 13, 2012 9:55 PM CST up reply actions
He was killed in Memphis.
You’re thinking of those weird home and homes the Bulls and Knicks would play sometimes. That had no real significance.
by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 9:57 PM CST up reply actions
I live in Memphis, so don't think I'd miss the chance to see the MVP back here!
I will be chanting “M-V-P” every time he touches the ball

tweetland is impressed
McGrawDHBulls Mike McGraw
A few more good numbers: Boozer 5 assists, Noah 4 blocks, Brewer 5-7 FG. Unusual for Bulls to have just 8 bench points.
CSN asking if Bulls should sign Sheed as our 5th big
what say you, BaB? I say sure, Rip will keep him sane plus we get an enforcer.
Under construction.
absolutely
if anything, it’ll make our team more interesting to watch
Too slow, too jerky, too quirky, too Deng!
I'd love the signing.
He would be great in that role. Tough dude.

yes, sheed is a solid player when it comes playoff time
esp off the bench, he can be helpful on defense.
He's like 6'7
I’d prefer the emergency big man is actually a big man. Someone who could fill in at Center or PF in a pinch.
did power ever had a good game other than those vs LAL?
by JustAnotherFan on Jan 13, 2012 9:57 PM CST up reply actions
he was pretty good in Boston
I’m not really sure why he’s out of the league when some clearly inferior players still have jobs.
Didn't he have some pretty severe knee injuries?
He’s already undersized, without any lift don’t really see a place for him.
by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 10:02 PM CST up reply actions
unfortunately he's had knee issues since his freshman year in college
he’s a real good person away from basketball, does A LOT for the Oakland community
HELL YEAH

is thibs the allstar coach for the east?
Cause we had the best record last year.
are we SURE we want Deng to be an allstar
it's whoever has the best record at the break
or whenever they announce it i don’t remember exactly how it works. but we do have the best record in the east right now, so if we don’t lose it he will be.

That would be a laugh
Thibs ragging on all the players who play no defense in a game where there’s no defense.

Oh so Joakim Noah is alive. Good to have him on the team.
Boozer played decent, Brewer and Deng were awesome, Rose was pretty bad for 2 quarters but he gets a pass because he owned that 4th quarter without really breaking a sweat.
Oh, and Rondo is just too much. Maybe instead of learning how to flop, he should have learned how to shoot or learned how to attack the basket with something besides the Eurostep.
Why
Once the big 3 retire he can languish in Boston with nobody decent to pass to. Then people can measure the difference.
And Thibs said, Let there be three's, and Deng shot threes

he's a good player
he’s just nowhere near Rose
by JustAnotherFan on Jan 13, 2012 9:55 PM CST up reply actions
He gets zero respect. After he flopped for that call to end the 1st the refs basically trolled him for the rest of the game.
by Ozzie Montana on Jan 13, 2012 9:58 PM CST up reply actions
that's true
I was really more referring to media, though now that I think about it even that’s cooled off in the last year or so

and the man still get it done. Currently, im first place (money league) and look for that big jackpot!
Isn't that a no-brainer? Nash doesn't really look that great and Phoenix is really struggling to score.
Lawson is a stud and Billups can still rack up 3s and assists.

you really have to do extreme scouting
and look at matchups and determine past performances of each player (esp this week)
I had Nash on my team
and they announced after the cutoff that he wasn’t going to play because of a previously unannounced injury.
Oh well

but you’re right, his rebounding isn’t all that good.
bulls are crazy
when they are on they WIN
when they are off they WIN
when they start with a big deficit they come back and WIN
when they give up a big lead they dont implode they focus more and WIN
this team is just awesome, every situation every game i think and they think we will win.
