I’m assuming all the teams are put together once the time has run up?

That's how long you have to make your selections...

if you are under the cap at that point or have even one spot blank draftstreet will disqualify you.

by Micdiddy on Jan 13, 2012 1:55 PM CST up reply actions

you mean over the cap?

thanks for the heads up

Actually feeling pretty strong about my team!

Couldn’t find JLIII, thought that might’ve been a good value pick if Rose is out. Good luck all!

Am I the only one

with Ronnie Brewer? I think he was way undervalued by Draftstreet…

by Micdiddy on Jan 13, 2012 12:26 PM CST reply actions

I think he was as well...

but he could very easily have a bad shooting night. Too risky for a one day thing in my opinion

But a lot of the low-mid players available are incosistent

whereas though Brewer must regress to the mean sometime, he has been able to put up good numbers for 12 games now and shoot a lights-out fg%.
We’ll see, I think he’s a steal once it get down to those two utility spots and you only have 14k left or whatever.

by Micdiddy on Jan 13, 2012 1:54 PM CST up reply actions

You may be completely right

I am just a bit hesitant to pick him

Go for it then

I wouldn’t. No telling if he’ll get 2 or 15 points, he’ll get a steal, 3 assists, and 3-4 rebounds. I’d say he’s accurately valued on the site. Even if he has a breakout game, it won’t be that good.

if i win.

im using the money to custom make a melo bulls jersey and posting it here

Should've traded for Melo.

by sin on Jan 13, 2012 2:35 PM CST reply actions

Doesn't Melo just strike you as one of those guys

who will never win a championship? I mean, he’s a superstar and all, but I can easily see James, Rose, Durant or Griffin lifting that trophy in my mind’s eye. Melo lifting it with that stupid grin is almost impossible to picture.

Truth

I didn’t see the national title game, but he was kinda vital to his gold medal team

by SidM on Jan 13, 2012 3:37 PM CST up reply actions

Yes, exactly.

I’m sure Melo is a fine guy and he’s a great player, there’s just something about him beating out all the other superstars that I simply can’t picture (maybe just because he hasn’t done it yet).
In a seven game series I don’t think he has the mental fortitude to outshine the other guys.

I could be wrong…but I doubt it.

Does anyone know how to see the blogabull group on there?

I made my team, saved it…but that’s all I get. I don’t see anything related to anyone else.

I think we get to see other's teams once the teams are locked in

I took the opponent heavily into account

Since it was better than pretending I could guess which players would outperform their averages.

by runningman on Jan 13, 2012 5:39 PM CST reply actions

I went with

James, Garnett, Rose, B Knight (DET), G Wallace, Brewer, G Monroe, Asik.

Got a lot riding on tonight’s game!

And Deng saw the three's, that they were good
And didn't shoot long two's anymore
