i went to the game in boston (booz’s second game) when the chants started for him lol… and even though the bulls were about to lose i still wanted him to make the final shot. ridiculous though them chanting for someone on the other team hahaha

about him not playing at all after the trade…but I’d imagine between his time with Thibs in Boston and his offense he’d be a welcome addition to the bench mob if CJ is out for a while

it seems like the current Bulls brass is high on hard-working gym rats who keep their heads down and work hard. I just don’t see Arenas fitting that mold, no matter how much talent, or how much he might have left in the tank. (I also don’t think he has that much left in the tank, by the way, given multiple knee injuries.)

Yeah definitely fits Cousins more so
But if you think about it, the Bulls brass & Thibs have gone to great lengths to create a very specific vibe in the locker room, where everyone buys in, no one does his own thing, everyone works his ass off. And a lot of these guys are kind of young, too.
I just can’t imagine them risking all of that by bringing in a guy who’s a little bit of a head case, a little bit of a lone wolf, and a guy who is used to being able to freelance offensively. Plus, he’s got this horrible blemish on his record in terms of “character”, which the Bulls value so highly.
Heck, I myself would warn Rose to stay the hell away from him if I could. There is literally nothing he could add that would be good or constructive, that would not be outweighed by the risk. I mean, if there is, I can’t think of it.

which is why people wanted him so badly. Kobe may be sore, but his injuries don’t make him shoot it 28 times if he’s not feeling right. He could have given it to Gasol or Bynum instead.

That does make sense, tho, since a lot of ppl on here, and some pundits as well, seemed to think he was the best fit for the Bulls this off-season.

the Bulls will not bring in anyone that has even the slightest possibility of having a personal agenda. Personally, I think they’ll ride with Lucas for a few games just to see if he’s capable. Unless he’s a complete disaster (or CJ’s injury is REALLY serious), that’ll probably be the guy.

Yeah, he was backup PG for one game, and I rarely blame a game on one player, but that game, was all his fault. CJ played his ass off, and from what I remember, Noah was like 20-15. and Deng was like 25-10. EVERYONE played their asses off, and Lucas screwed it up.
