NBA Finals Thread, Game 4 (6/7/11)

PrintWhat adjustments will the Mavs make? Will they stop playing Peja Stojakovic? Will they stop doubling Dwyane Wade and LeBron James in the post? Will Brendan Haywood play? Will it do any good? Although the Heat look like they could easily be up 3-0, the last game was very close, and it is tough to win three straight on the road in the Finals.
On a different note, Wade has been a new man in this series. Did the Bulls just defend him better, or was there something wrong with him that they wouldn't talk about? And if there was something wrong with him, does that mean maybe there was something wrong with Boozer that they wouldn't talk about?
Okay, I hope that's enough words. If not, I'll have to start talking about Bulls' potential trades or free agent signings or draft prospects, and I really want to leave that to the other posts, since soon that is all we will talk about for months.

I'm in favor of penalizing players who get caught doing stuff like that
But am trying to think of the best way to assess the penalty that has some sort of effect on the outcome of a game. Money isn’t enough (although it’d certainly be a start). Technical free throws at the beginning of the next game between the teams? Wouldn’t help in the case of an elimination game but I’m not sure any solution would.
they should be technicals at the very least
since then they would count toward the tech totals and possible suspensions. or have them in a different category of tech and you can amass even fewer before the suspension hits.

That jumpshot was always going to be the death of Lebron.
Don’t understand why he stopped attacking the basket like he did in Cleveland. In series against the Bulls it’s great, as it helps the Heat put away the Bulls. But if it goes broke for a few games in a series, the Heat are going to become vulnerable to being beaten, and Lebron will look like a stooge while Wade becomes the star of the team, thus ruining Lebron’s GOAT chase.

You can’t hard foul LeBron. He’s the NBA’s golden child you breathe or even look at him you get called. The only time where he did get hard fouled and it wasn’t in favor of LeBron was when Shaq did it in the Oct. 26 game with the Celtics. He nearly knocked him down and stared at him and the refs didn’t do anything.

I didn’t want to offend anyone by saying the "f" word or generalizing my statement to any particular sex by saying "gays" or lesbians" or "bi’s" so "homos" is the most "politically correct" term. I’m just trying to be more tact in a tactless blog.
