Josh Smith: 100% unimpressive

Just terrible.

Star-divide

I really dont even know how anybody could like the guy. He takes a ton of stupid jumpers, hardly ever attacks the rim, and holds on to the ball too long. His passing is practically nonexistent, and he is a black hole.

Not only this, but he apparently has never learned to box out, leaving his man time and again either in a stupid attempt at a block, or to whine at the officials. His defense seems highly overrated, he doesnt rebound, and he apparently doesnt score. So then what the hell does the guy do? He definitely doesnt make hustle plays.

All star snub? More like a player lucky to not be in the D-league. There are times when he looks to be the 2nd worst player in the NBA, after his teammate Zaza Pachulia. I mean this in whole honesty, and this is after watching Luke Walton play for 5 years.

I dont want to post this on the Hawks blog

They would probably get pissed off and ban me lol. Jk, but still, I wouldnt feel comfortable doing that.

Wanted to see what Bulls fans think after 2 games of playing him.

lol

you said it all, i think. just change the title to 100% sucks. to be fair, boozer is not effective against him, so it’s a wash.

Walk the talk, Bulls.

What? He's impressive.

In our eyes of course. :)

Well, he blocks everyone of Boozers shot attempts,

though that’s not saying much as apparently Boozer forgot he needs to jump to dunk the ball

Shhh!

Can you please wait til after the series? I don’t want Larry Drew to hear this

Yeah.

I’m not getting the point of this post. He’s played badly. We want him to continue to play badly. Did you really need a fanpost to say this?

The poster isn’t a Bulls fan though.

I see what you mean.

I don’t know why he worries about being booted from the Hawks blog…or why he posted this at all.

Still rather have him than Boozer.

Did anybody else think that the Bulls logo upside down looks like a robot reading a book on a bench?

by lama1 on May 5, 2011 12:00 AM CDT reply actions

Neither one is very good

Smith is cheaper and still a decent defender, so I would have to agree.

by NewCavsfan on May 5, 2011 1:24 AM CDT up reply actions

No way

Josh Smith is a total moron.

Boozer’s in a rut.

But Boozer’s overall D and effort are better for our team than Josh’s many Tyrus Thomas moments. T2 is better than Josh Smith (At least this uncontrolled Josh Smith). Woodson had better control over Smith than Drew has ahd, but Smith still tends to go off.

The kid's out of this world. He's got Allen Iverson speed, Jason Kidd's vision, Chauncey Billups' shooting ability and Michael Jordan's athleticism. How do you guard that? - Pacers coach Frank Vogel.

Booz>>Josh

Josh plays dumber than Tyrus

MVP

The Chicago Bulls....have a young star, Derrick Rose, who must learn to live with the tearing down of his MVP candidacy as rapidly as he constructed it. - Woj

He only got good after he took off his headband.

Have to say I was disappointed when he got those 3 fouls in the first half and had to go to the bench, he was playing great for the Bulls before that point.

Josh Smith seemed to have it figured out last year.

Then this year someone told him he should start shooting from outside again.

Tyrus > Josh

As polarizing as Tyrus was amongst us Bulls fans, he NEVER did as much dumb stuff as Josh does. Josh has such a long leash, a leash that Tyrus (heck, or James Johnson) has never had.

And Josh Smith has a great game proving everyone wrong

(for the moment)

This life long, extremley passionate Bulls fan has chosen to cheer alone.
