Great Video

I’ve never watched your videos before because I always assumed you were this guy. Good analysis though.

Hey everybody! I’m Dr. Nick!

Solid analysis as always, however the manner of presentation could be improved.

It’s like he/you is/are trying to get a gig with ESPN by taking shots.

Road to the Eastern Conference Finals Assassination Missions

Game 5: Mission Accomplished. Too much... Tajmer? O-Face? Tajsik?
Game 6: Mission Accomplished. And about damn time too!

Next up, the Eastern Conference Finals Assassination Missions:

Game 1: Mission Accomplished. Method: Suffocation.

Good analysis.

I did think a few criticisms you had of Boozer were a little unfair.

On the rotation stuff, I am with you, he just doesn’t seem to “get” it, and I cannot for the life of me figure out if it is effort, or whatever.

But I think Boozer is actually a pretty good passer. He did miss Kyle on a couple plays, but you can find video of pretty much every NBA player missing some open guys every game.
Also, a couple of those shots that Boozer did miss were actually pretty good attempts for him. With his high release, taking a fadeaway from the lane isn’t a bad shot for him at all.

I think Boozer is a decent passer

except when he gets into the paint and gets stuck. Inside passes, especially bounce passes in a crowded paint area dont wont. I wish he would just kick it out and reset or if the clock is winding down, just take the damn shot.

Well I agree with you there

I think we see this problem with Noah a lot too. Both guys actually are unselfish and good at passing, so they are tempted to thread the needle at times and it just doesn’t work. It comes from a good basketball place but is misguided.

Agreed

Great analysis as always. Too much harping on Boozer eg missing a wide open jumper at the 2:57 mark. Yah, he misses, it happens. People miss wide open jump shots all the time. If anything that clip should be shown as an example where Boozer did well.
