A couple of weeks ago no one would have thought that the first overall seed would be on the line. Well, it is! Despite a Monday setback against the Sixers, the Bulls are doing their part and sit 3 games up in the loss column for the #1 seed in the East and one game back of the #1 overall seed. If San Antonio doesn't want to fall to the #2 seed in the West they had better get their act together against the Phoenix Suns. Still, the seemingly invisible Lakers should have their hands full against the new-look Nuggets.
On to more East-centric games, Boston should have little trouble beating the woeful Pistons at home and I would not be surprised if the Deron Williams-lead Nets give the up and down Heat some trouble. If they can manage to stay out of playing transition basketball, they have a shot... of sorts. Let's go!
