So it's been almost a year now since VDN has moved onto greener and westerner pastures. The Bulls have gotten much much better. We're on the verge of possibly winning 60 games. Things are looking great for the future. Gar Forman is touted by some as a contender for EOY. Derrick Rose is in MVP talks. Thibs is getting COY consideration.
And then today, John Paxson has to open his big mouth:
"What also disappointed me is that [Del Negro] never owned up to making a mistake. That says more about him than it does me. I was trying to protect my player [Noah, who was coming back from injuries], I did it in the wrong way and I’m not proud of that."
Dear God, why? Why? Why?
How is this man still employed? He physically assaulted a coworker, creating the biggest controversy in this organization's last 10 years, and now is talking junk about a guy that has never once said anything negative about him since he left.
How long do we have to wait before they finally give Gar full control of this team so we can get rid of the walking PR nightmare that is John Paxson?
What is unbelievable is that there are people who are actually defending this sort of behavior and these comments. Does professional behavior mean anything to anyone anymore?
