is that he knew he was about to get fouled if he did. There’s only one thing Rondo is more motivated to do than pass the ball, and that’s to avoid the foul line.

I noticed Tony Allen (former Celtic) chasing him down from behind. I bet he didn’t attempt a lay-up due to Allen beating his shit off the backboard all the time in practice. Rondo also got bailed out on that weak ass jump pass.
all i thought of after watching this (and the million other times hes turned down wide open layups)
is that rondo went up and dunked without hesitation when he saw chris bosh in the lane that one game this year.
