The article was a good reminder
that regardless of bogans of being our starting sg, we still had the best record, and watching old games, made me forget how damn beastly we are.
I’d be okay with a slight upgrade at the SG, or even starting brewer.
Half a sig that's ridic
For perspective's sake, you should rewatch the ECF.

How quickly people forget
we lost the series because
1) Rose made poor decisions with the ball as often as he made good ones
2) Boozer being a shithead
3) We didn’t run our offense effectively, consistently (ties in with #1)

It also had a lot to do with the return of Udonis Haslem and Mike Miller, who negated the Bulls' biggest strengths over Miami
Bench depth and offensive rebounding. Miami could go small without getting killed on the boards and still surround James/Wade with shooters. Of course both of them promptly did nothing in the Finals.
Noah and Boozer are my goats for the series. They shot an unforgivable percentage at the rim and turned Rose into an out of control maniac during crunch time. Thibs refusing to open up the offense a little didn’t help matters either.

We need some hybrid of the Princeton Offense
We have the perfect personnel for it, think CWebb Kings. I think more about the way Georgetown’s Princeton works. A lot of screening at the top, cutters on the wing, pop outs at the wing and corner, and big man high post-low post passing.
The only thing is that to really kick some butt you want a guy who can hit that pop out 3 pointer AND enough handle to pump fake, and either take it to the rack or dribble dribble mid-range j it.

I was thinking flex, myself.

We did a little bit of that sorta thing, but no where near enough.

I agree with this article on a lot of points, specifically these ones
A) We were an outstanding basketball team. We don’t “NEED” anything. It’d be nice to have an upgrade at SG, but even without one, we have a great shot at a title.
B) The Bulls’ offensive system wasn’t great last year. There needs to be more off-ball movement and more plays designed to get good shots. That alone will take the burden off of Rose. With that said, it’d sure be easier to develop a better system with another talented scorer out there, or at the very least, more shooting.

I agree with this
The Bulls offense simply stagnated against the Heat. Picking up a new and better 2 could create the offense variation that we need, but so could a more diversified offensive set with the talent that we already have.
I think the article does a good job of showing that the Bulls can find a gameplan to ultimately beat the Heat regardless of if we sign a new player to start the 2. We were close, that series was pretty close. A healthy Boozer might even be enough to take them down.
Umm dose a fish need water..?
Yes we need a Sg someone who can make shots and dribble the ball..If u dont want rose doubled teamed all the time you better get 1.
Yes
On the J.R. Smith bandwagon until otherwise advised.
need for what? do they NEED a SG upgrade to win a title? no. do they need an upgrade at SG
to increase their chances of winning a title? thats the most likely place to install a fundamental upgrade- so maybe. but i still say no upgrade on the horizon that i can see has the potential or the likelihood to impact the game as some decent play from the starting frontcourt deep in the playoffs.
"The literati sent out their minions to do their bidding," Tyler wrote. "Washington cannot tolerate threats from outsiders who might disrupt their comfortable world. The firefight started when the cowardly sensed weakness. They fired timidly at first, then the sheep not wanting to be dropped from the establishment’s cocktail party invite list unloaded their entire clip, firing without taking aim their distortions and falsehoods. Now they are left exposed by their bylines and handles. But surely they had killed him off. This is the way it always worked. A lesser person could not have survived the first few minutes of the onslaught. But out of the billowing smoke and dust of tweets and trivia emerged Gingrich, once again ready to lead those who won’t be intimated by the political elite and are ready to take on the challenges America faces."
