Bulls' dream (sources say) & Heat's nightmare is for Chi to get Brandon Roy after Blazers cut him w/amnesty clause....

But Bulls know Roy likely to be picked up first by a team with cap room. Source says Chi has interest in Josh Howard too, so does Wash & NJ

Josh Howard??

Not feelin it.
Also if not the bulls gettin Roy then, who would be the next team to get him

I can see the pacers getting Roy

and it owuld make sense for them. If they can get Roy and get another pg to split minutes with him, they can become a threat than last yr for the Bulls, Knicks etc.

Im surprised no one has talked about Grant Hill

and yet, people are talking about Roy and TMac who are imo less attractive options than Hill. If anything, I want the bulls to get Hill if they cant get a young SG (e.g. Mayo, Ellis).

Yeah, I'm worried about what happens when the Bulls

sign a guy thats not committed to defense. Thibs has that magic fairy dust, but does it work on Howard?

wasn't Howard a solid defender on the Avery Johnson Mavs?

he might not be anymore, but I didn’t think he had a bad rep on that end.

He was known for 2 things in Dallas:

Strong defense and excellent first quarter/half scoring.

by dakoose on Nov 29, 2011 10:49 PM CST up reply actions

Yes he was

He had an excellent rep around the league and was Dallas’ perimeter stopper and “glue” guy.

Hmm ok.

I guess I don’t remember that. If he can defend then I like him.

Howard in his prime was a plus defender. Of course that was before the knee injury

Bulls need to sign hill in a very bad way

Then make a play for roy or mayo for shooting guard.
