Around SBN: NFL Players Ready To Welcome Gay Teammate

A Rebel NBA

http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/7058281/we-need-renegade-basketball-league

Here's something that might pose some fun while we continue to hear dreadful news on this inconceivable lockout.

Take a look at the possible position of Derrick Rose

Star-divide

It's a bit amusing how Simmons makes up all the team names, locations, players, and ownership. I'm sure many people would pay to watch these kind of games. Considering some of these players decide to stay in our country and not move to Europe, this rebel league would send a "screw you" to the owners. It would definitely show them that the players are the ones who get people to the arena, bring in the revenue, globalize the game of basketball, and bring people together all under one common denominator.

Rose / Stoudmire / Horford / Pierce / Allen

Rose would need to take on the pure point guard role here, and he needs to play solid defense on the other guards. Although, it would be interesting to see Rose with his new post-up game. Bulls fans would finally be satisfied with the spot up shooter we've been coveting to take us to that next level. On top of that, we have a viable defensive PF/C unlike Carlos Boozer. Basically, all Rose has to do is distribute the ball and have those jaw-dropping acrobatic drives to the rim. Imagine the .pick and roll with Amare...Now that would bring people to the arena.

Because of solid roles provided by each player,  the Kansas City Klondike Bars (hahaa) is the most complete team compared to the others who have unorthodox line-ups.

Players just want to play. We just want to see them play. It's very simple. But players have to realize that they're going to lose. It's not all over yet, there are still some scenarios that could come into fruition. In the worst case, the whole season is lost. So we go to this "renegade league", which is a blissful fantasy. Or, we go to college basketball...and this blog turns into an e-ghost town.

Man, Americans love basketball.

Everybody loves basketball, I think a pro basketball void could be filled easily. Especially by someone as cagey as Commissioner Simmons.

This one is sort of extreme by Simmons

But I could see the Drew League or the Goodman League filling that void. If there is a lockout, some players have already decided stay here, and they would most likely join these semi-pro leagues. Or possibly the ABA.

i dare you to move.

That would be a nice squad for Rose

all those guys can shoot, so they would spread the court for his penetration, he would have to spread the ball a round tough, a lot.

this is sort of ot

but i was bored with 2k11, so i just forwarded my association until ever known superstar had retired. (rose wins 4 championships with my bulls teams after i got dwight howard, he also adds a total of 6 nba mvps, 4 scoring titles, and multiple all defensive teams, 2 first….all simulated btw…) anyway after boozer leaves the team, roses contract expires after a finals loss to sacremento, and he leaves to play out the rest of his career in San Antonio….i wanted to see what squad he was running with so i glanced at that san antonio team….it has rose, blake griffen, and james harden as its big 3!!

Just imagine that big 3….thats….insane…..

yea rose added another finals mvp and championship for the next two years….

I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!
