Around SBN: Trent Richardson Interviews Fellow Brown Brandon Weeden

Rose, the reigning Most Valuable Player, has a lot to lose, on and off the court, from the lockout. His ascent from All-Star to MVP was quicker than anyone anticipated, and now he's become an international marketing star. He's also a gym rat. The 6-foot-3 point guard has spent the summer developing a better post-up game.

So, the league's youngest and most humble stars come out the same weekend

to pointlessly tell us and the media that it’s the owner’s fault. I am… 98% positive that Derrick, who has said next to nothing about the lockout all Summer, was put up to doing this. And if so, then I am disappointed that he went through with it. Even if you don’t get the finer points of the lockout (like me and, I think, Derrick), you should know that fans don’t really care whose fault it is anymore. Fact is, games will be missed and many fans will be walking away whenever the NBA does come back. I wish he just stayed out of it because, at least from my point of view, both sides are at fault and the result is this nonsense.

He didn't come out to say that,

he was out promoting his new kicks and when asked about the lockout gave his opinion. It’s not like he set up a presser to make the announcement.

Oh I know

but he’s been out and about doing a lot of things. He had plenty of time to express that opinion but just happened to do so the same weekend that Durant and Eric Gordon said basically the same things. It’s also pretty much been the lowest point of fan support for the playoffs. It just seems like he was put up to it to me.

this isn't a repost

but there was an article posted about his posted up game. Is there any training footage anywhere? I’d like to see it.

Or maybe I’ll just have to wait til next season.
