NICE.

Although, I don’t think I’m being homerific when I say I think the D Rose dunks at 20 and 18 should be higher. That Outlaw Dunk at 13 was silly. I haven’t seen that before.

Hey LAL 32, just wondering, why do you post here? I don’t care, I think it’s cool when other team’s fans post here, I’m just curious. Is it because of the Team USA thing going on or something?

Superteams suck.

Who knows who cares

Didnt look at his profile, but assuming LAL doesnt meam lakers, which im sure it does, and it means clippers, he is just researching pargos roots

Well, it's not that I care

I was just curious why a Lakers fan would be posting on here regularly. I rarely see it unless it’s the Playoffs or we’re about to play the Trailblazers. And it wasn’t just the name “LAL”, but the “32” and Lakers avatar that gave it away.

Superteams suck.

I'm guessing the offseason must be boring as hell for a Lakers fan.

It's funny how little we hate the Lakers here

seeing as how they won the last couple championships. I guess it’s because there’s no one to really dislike but Kobe, and after the Decision thing Kobe has a lot more fans.

Also the Bulls weren't championship contenders

so there was no reason to even think about Lakers since we weren’t in their class, and would never face them in the playoffs.

That Wade dunk deserved #1

but I think it’s because I hate Varejao.

Ok

So it made me wish just a little that the Bulls got Amare instead of Boozer. I know it is just highlight reel shit, but damn!

Also, Corey Brewer is a beast. I would not mind seeing him in a Bulls uni.

few thoughts

First off, I loooove that the guy uses the audio from the games during the dunks. I hate when it’s only crappy music.
Second, does Rose have the most dunks on there? I think Iggy and Amare only had 3 each though I wasn’t coutinng as it was going…pretty impressive for a pt guard.
Third, I don’t know why, but I’m quite partial to Rose’s reverse windmill against the Celtics. I think it’s because it looks so smooth and elegance.
Fourth, even though we’re all supposed to hate the Heat now I love how Wade stomps over Varejao like a vanquished foe after his dunk

that number 1 dunk always makes me laugh... then reggie starts talking and i feel like

scratching my eardrums apart.

there didnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to these rankings, but cool post.

by the way, gallinari stole that pose from shawn kemp.

Ok some of these are terribly ranked

LeBron’s dunk at #35 should top 15 at least.

Iggy’s 12 and 11 could be top 10.

Wade’s dunk was nice but I still don’t think it’s the best of the year.

by dbrown25 on Aug 28, 2010 11:41 PM CDT reply actions

Are you for real?

Wade’s dunk are incredible. He crushed Varejao, and then he stepped over him (to quote jeeves from above) ‘like a vanquished foe.’
Sometimes it’s not just the dunk that makes it great; sometimes it’s what happens after. Like on Rose’s alley-oop against Atlanta when he dunked it and just stared at Mo Evans. That was cold.

I am for real

The dunk was nice…but it wasn’t clean. If you watch the replay in slow mo it wasn’t a clean dunk really. He was losing control of the ball.

I like my dunks clean (and my beer cold and my homosexuals fa-laaaayming).

meh

i like the number 1 dunk….im not a big fan of wade, and i dont hate lebron that much…but when i saw that dunk i was watching it over and over again on youtube, and ive only done that to a couple of dunks in my life, the pippen over ewing, jordan over ewing, rose over dragic…and that one. If they had the full clip maybe u appreciate it more. Lebron gets the ball on one end, he goes at j. oneal….soft….looking for the contact….j. oneal known for anything but his defense…..wade gets the rebound as ledouche pouts, wade runs the length of the court, verajao…a man known for his defense is waiting….wade rises up and with authority dunks it on verajao….wade walks away saying….“thats how you do it!” it was a message for lebron…

Its one of the things that make me sad…now that those two are on the same team, ill never be able to see wade slam it on lebrons head…maybe thats what lebron wanted…

The only dunk i really felt was miscast, was number 19….maybe it couldve been switched with number 26 or something…

I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!

The way the ball bounced after it went through the hoop was awesome on Wade's dunk

Also….was I missing something or was there nothing from Dwight Howard in there?

by dbrown25 on Aug 29, 2010 11:42 AM CDT up reply actions

I like the way Wade

changed directions just so he could step over Varajeo on the ground. I give it number 1 on that alone.

I also like how you can hear Funk muttering about buggywhips after every dunk, except on the Dragic dunk where we have to listen to “momma there goes that man” which is quite possibly the worst catch phrase in history, human or alien.

I think JR Smith's should be number one.

In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).

Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

why…..?

it just looked unplanned and was an amazingly athletic play

he took a screw-up and made it beautiful… in my opinion

Nice vid

Can’t wait for the season to start. I don’t understand why any intelligent human being would position himself in between the rim and Amare Stoudemire running towards the hoop. He may not play D or rebound…but DAMN he dunks people super nasty.
