i remember how crazy it was when they made the "tip-toe" baseline

feature where you can feel the controller get tougher when your on the edge of the baseline. Cant wait for this game

i am so sick of having 100 point games scored all on the baseline

from now on instead of saying "go fuck yourself" im gunna just say "go join the heat"

I'm so stoked for the 'simulation' mode.

I always disliked how it played out before with the ability to just dunk on everyone and everything. Hopefully simulation actually has shooting fouls in it without it being ridiculous.

yea

u know what i wanted them to add, a seperate attribute called superstar attribute. Basically if you have a high superstar attribute, you get more foul calls your way, and get called for less fouls against you. If you look at any real superstar in the nba, perhaps ever, the bigger stars got some very unfair call advantages, while a guy like rose gets no respect. It could be an attribute thats affected by fan reactions to you, making the all star team or getting some sort of award would boost it, or having highlight plays in a game…

2k10 showed that it has the ability to keep track of such things, they could simply create an algorithm that utilizes it

I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!

I guess that would be cool

but only if it were restricted to simulation mode.

like the pheonix

those who have fallen shall rise again!!!

notice the passes kidd was making compared to chalmers? Im hoping they added signature passing….its about time steve nash had a whole repertoire of bounce passes at his disposal..and hinrich was…anything but flashy with his passes… i like the new double team system, much faster and at more effective angles…but i still dont like the ai defense, someone told me this is on casual mode and the guy is playing on rookie…plus it isnt the finished product…hope he was right…

I didn’t read it all yet but theres one thing I hope they fixed.

When someone is playing picture perfect defense I see too many players still make shots just because of ratings. Like 95% of their shots will be just stupid and they’ll still be shooting 70% from the field.
Also stealing if you have a 99 rating and a quickness/speed whatever that doesn’t mean you can steal at will.

yea i felt 2k10

really needed tweaks, and the game sliders were flawed in themselves…even after you adjusted them, the game a.i. somehow adapted itself and would eventually force its will. This is true especially if you played the association mode, i would tweak the gamesliders, and they would rule…for like 3 games, and then suddenly in the 4th game either id blow the computer out, or the computer would blow me out, with a team like the pacers, or the grizzlies.

If you look at the actual game footage link above (posted by yfbb) you can see some of the changes they added to the defense, primarily the double team feature. however it still looks too easy. Supposedly the guy is playing on pro difficulty and on casual mode (which is a new name for arcade mode?) so hense the ease of the game….supposedly putting the game on simulation mode makes adjustments for 12 min quarters and accruate fg%….

2k11 from that footage above, looks more like what 2k10 should have been…and thats kind of dissapointing to me…i know its early though. I hope they also revamp the association again (seriously they should revamp the association every 2 years)

man i can spend hours talking about all the things id want to change in 2k basketball games…remember 24/7 mode…that was awesome!

I still have the original 2K on dreamcast,

I liked it when the 2k camera was the default option…I dunno, just something I got used from the 2ks earlier in the decade and that still annoys me that they didn’t leave it as such
