I know there was a Fanpost about this, but apparently Pax has given Pip an endorsement and sounds down, if Thibs wants it.

Would have been best if Paxson said, "That's up to Coach Thibodeau"
when asked if Pippen’s coaching career could start in Chicago. ’I would prefer that Pax just stays away from every move Thibs may or may not make. Let the coach do his thing.
