""If you hit six three pointers in a row like Jordan did against the Trail Blazers in 1992, the virtual Jordan will shrug just like he did in real life on that night." Additionally, if that happens, your head will immediately explode from all the awesomeness happening in it."

Bulls fans heads will explode

When they realize one of the playable Jordans will be:

January 4, 2003 – 41 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals

Washington Wizards 107 vs. Indiana Pacers 104 2OT

or

December 29, 2001 – 51 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals

Wasington Wizards 107 vs. Charlotte Hornets 90

Althouh PJ Brown will be available in the latter, and Reggie Miller in the former.

I went to college in DC the same year Jordan went to the Wizards

So I got to see all of his Wizards games. People act like he was a horrible player then, but that was far from the truth. He just wasn’t the spectacular player that he used to be.

He had a 20.8 and 19.3 PER his last two years on the Wizards.

He just had some terrible games which brought down his efficiency.

With the Bulls he didn’t have these bad games. And this was pre-rule changes, so his effiiciency was better than it looks compared to today’s players.

The number of good games he had is quite amazing considering his age and time off from basketball.

PER is adjusted to the league

Well, isn't what LeBron did last night the living embodiment of The Secret, leaving millions on the table and turning himself into a hometown villain, all for the sake of winning?

i think its a pretty awesome idea

but it only works if the rest of the ai controlled players act accordingly. Im assuming its gonna be in the same point of view as the my player mode games, except without the team grade thing (maybe a jordan grade???) I guess the whole thing will be similar to the madden challenges mode, or the Tiger Challenge mode from the Tiger Woods game. It not only is cool, but shows how what jordan did was extremely difficult, even if you are the G.O.A.T.
I think ozzie mentioned it, and i agree, i hope that during the sick game challenge, they do things to make you actually look and feel sick. Like low stamina bars, an animation so that you constantly look like you are dying on the court, lower handle, verticle, quickness and speed attritibutes accordingly….

My only fear is that all 2k does is add the jordan challenge mode, and do little else to change the game. More realistic default game sliders perhaps, or make them easier to adjust, better a.i, not cheaper a.i. Better player tendencies, better player animations (every other guy does a no look pass in 2k…every no name guard can get a double double with ease) They should also have special foul things, like a superstar should get to the line alot more than rookie. Maybe add a star factor (instead of clutch factor) players with high star factor can get to the line more or get away with more (less charge calls on them, more blocking calls for them)…They definetly gotta do something about the dunking system, aside from lebron james, not every guy can just dunk in traffic. Derrick rose should have tremendous hops, but that doesnt mean that he should dunk on everyone. They gotta find a way to limit that. Standing dunks should be more contested…

The post moves from 2k8 should be brought back, i hate the post game system in 2k10, its easier for the cpu to score everytime, and its impossible for me to get what i want in the post with boozer. NOt just team but overall defense has to be improved….teams should not be averaging 50%fg for a season…teams also shouldnt have two players wtih double digit steals a game…..much less one. I demand realism from my 2k games, if i wanted stuff that looks cool, id go play nba live or elite or whatever they change their name too…

I dont care what the D.N.A. Says, the Guy wearing number 12 Cannot be Kirk Hinrich, he is definetly Kurt. Kirk can actually play basketball!

the game sliders need to be changed so much

and definitely need to rework the post game alot.
i can barely score with boozer but if i use kobe i can sit in the post all day and live off fadeaway jumpers for some reason

It's because the players guarding kobe

have no post defense rating, and they’re generally shorter than him.

You can score with Boozer in the post, but you have to master the post moves since everyone who guards him is taller…. you’ll need to create space. Most people haven’t come close to mastering the post moves because its so much easier to take a superstar, run baseline and dunk or lay it up.

I'm really surprised because...

I am not that good at 2K10, but I played it a few times last week with Boozer and he seemed unstoppable in the post. Hook shots with either hand one after the other. Maybe that’s because I was playing on PRO and you guys are playing on a harder level or something… but I actually thought it was unrealistic because Boozer was TOO good in the post.

Although, it did make me excited to watch Boozer this year!

Ask me about Tom Thibodeau!!!

i use custom game sliders

and play on superstar…the sliders are fine for using deng, rose, even noah isnt too bad…but the cpu somehow gets average post scorers to go insane with insane efficiency, while boozer misses bunnies…..

I dominate with Booze in all my games

I used to ALWAYS be the Jazz, and a pick and roll with Williams to Booze was unstoppable.
