He also poo-poos the McGrady idea...which I think Reinsdorf is very much behind...if you watched the TV show "The Club", Jerry specifically said he likes taking chances on formerly great players who have something to prove...

Yeah that's true about the Reinsdorf comment.

By the way, I personally “poo-poo” the Pargo Idea. If we can consider signing him, then we might as well try to catch lightning in a bottle with McGrady instead.

Well, now we know the real reason why Ronnie Brewer can't shoot!
Though he struggled mightily last season and suffered a knee injury this summer, it’s also not inconceivable for Jannero Pargo to return given the organization’s familiarity with him, his cohesive locker room presence and his mentorship to Ronnie Brewer, a fellow Arkansas alum.

Thats so retarded it sounds..

reasonable.. like a ‘Bulls move.’ I just punched a hole in my drywall.

Shack was a better option.

They lack size still. Thomas is only 6 9 and does not block shots..

Kurt isn't a locker room cancer.

eat. sleep. hoop. repeat. become legendary.

Always with the 6'9" comments

Not just you specifically, but I hear it way too much. What makes people think that a 6’9" big man must be ineffective? It is far more about what you can do with your size than anything. There are countless 7 footers in the league who are as useless in the paint as I am.

Thomas blocked shots at basically the same rate as Shaq

last season. Even at 6’9" and 37 years old Thomas was a decent shot blocker.

Not to mention he is 6`5"

And by my reckoning more athletic than Bogans… which admittedly is not saying much. I will take 38% career 3pt shooting though. :)

I could not let that slip through the cracks...

Unlike some of the other objects of derision and hatred on this board, I don’t believe Pargo has a single advocate around here…

Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.

I'm not a big fan of bringing in T-Mac

But if there’s any chance that Pargo might be the alternative, by all means, sign McGrady.
