Bulls Vegas Summer League schedule announced

Get all the details at Ridiculous Upside. Bulls play 5 games between 7/13 and 7/18.

Depending on how things go in free agency, the Bulls won't only be using the league to get James Johnson (and maybe Taj Gibson, though I could see him skipping?) some time, but also unguaranteed guys like Rob Kurz and Chris Richard as well as other fringe NBA-ers. The Bulls will need to put some people on their roster on minimum contracts.

If he doesn't get drafted

what about giving Lance Stephenson a shot? He’s had some off court trouble but he could be a steal at PG/SG…comps to Tyreke Evans…

He'll get drafted 2nd round at worst...he's too talented to fall entirely out

Let's sign LeBron and dance our way to the NBA championship. It'll be so crazy!

Yeh someone needs to give Stephenson a shot because he doesn’t have one at all. homeless man’s Evans. We need people who are at least decent shooters

Wonder if they're gonna want Thibs to coach the team to get some job training

Worked wonders for Vinny.

He may not be married, but he's got plenty of Thibo-hoes.

ah, didn't think of that

I’d bet he does coach the team, which does give the whole thing a bit more intrigue.

We can only hope that Linton Johnson III returns

to provide the stability and veteran leadership that helps makes Bulls summer league basketball so enjoyable.

I'm very interested to see if James Johnson

reports with less body fat%

If he doesn’t then i’m not very hopeful about his future.

I am interested to see...

If James Johnson is still with the team….he seems like one of the most likely candidates to be traded prior to summer camp….either draft night or part of a sign and trade…

Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.

I don't see any point in trading him except if salaries need to be balanced

His trade value is lower right now that it was when he was drafted 16th last year. Other teams aren’t going to go “I don’t want to make that trade, but now that you’re including James Johnson, this is too good to pass up.”

I doubt he goes anywhere.

meh, it's better than nothing

it’s possible his value is even lower next year, and a cheap rookie deal is still a cheap rookie deal.

not sure he'll play

he’s the center on a very good turkish national team that’s in the FIBA tourney. think it’s actully in turkey this year, too.

love the announcers

Best part about the summer league by far

"The Zen philosopher Basho once wrote: 'A flute with no holes is not a flute, And a doughnut with no hole is a Danish.' He was a funny guy. He also said to move the FanShots back to the right side."
