I often see (and have even referenced it myself) that Omer Asik is coming to this team next year. While he's not a thick big man, he would give us some depth, and from all the scouting reports, it seems he would be an above-average center, too, who would be able to spread the floor a little bit with his size, skills, and ultimately, his potential, too. Supposedly his blocking ability would carry over well, too.

My question is, is he officially coming here? I've seen that silly countdown and I wonder what it's counting down to. His Euro contract expires, yes, but does that officially mean he's going to the Bulls after it? I just want someone way more obsessed to be like "he's joining the Bulls October 9th, bitches" or something. Someone do that.
