Sorry, I know a lot of people aren't liking this, but I find it totally hilarious

So do I
and it’s true on top of that.
Joakim on whether he ever tried tennis: "I played a little bit. If anybody on the Bulls wanted to play me, I would kick their ass."
Also, this was the whole line:
“What is so cool about Cleveland? I’ve never heard someone say I’m going to Cleveland on vacation.”

2 other classics
Joakim Noah to Jamario Moon after Noah’s interview session: “See if you can hit (those shots) in Chi(cago).”
“I don’t want to be sitting up here giving LeBron James all this credit”
If the Bulls don’t make the playoffs I won’t need to watch basketball, its on to basketball.

Honestly, I will have to wait the Chicago games
before laughing at the Jamario’s one

Or until he eventually starts to suck and everyone hates him again.
But enjoy it while it lasts because this is great.

I can't bring myself to hate a guy that plays with heart
That’s why I loved chapu’s game… until Skiles broke his will
by JustAnotherFan on Apr 22, 2010 8:21 AM CDT up reply actions
Why would he start to suck?
He’s an athletic 7 footer, with a strong work ethic and intelligent. Unless he gets hurt, he won’t suck until he’s old.

He's ultimately just setting it all up for when they lose the series
Cavs can beat us all they want but no matter what they do in the postseason, Cleveland will always suck

JR we need firepower next year
cuz these two (Rose and Noah) deserve to win!
At least we know Joakim will never leave as a free agent
to go to Cleveland.
Though he’s not helping in the Lebron recruitment effort by trashing his hometown.
I’ve long accepted that Lebron’s not coming here, though, so i’m not worried about that.
Vinny: "[Thrust] means pace, it means getting the ball out, it means getting your back to the sidelines, it means extending your outlets, it means getting the ball up the court into our early offense with plenty of time."
Lebron's from Akron
I think he’s said he’s from Akron, not Cleveland several times. Even wore a Yankee hat to a Yanks/Indians playoff game.
Doesn’t seem very moral to me. Might as well take Satan’s autograph while you’re at it. - N.C.
Yea prince jame is fro Akron
But i Love the FACT that Noah isnt afraid to speak his mind, great shit, i wish rose was a little like thiss

Wasn't Noah saying pre-draft that he didn't want to get drafted by Milwaukee?

I think Noah is far too cultured to go anywhere that isn't a big city like the Chi, NYC, or LA. He grew up in France
and New York. He would be really out of place in a shitty town like Milwaukee.
Kirk Hinrich sucks. The end.

Milwaukee is hardly a place you'd call "shitty."
It’s not the zenith of high culture, but you could do a lot worse than a nice city by the lake, and only an hour away from Chicago.
by Ozzie Montana on Apr 20, 2010 12:04 PM CDT up reply actions
Relative to the three cities I mentioned, Milwaukee is shitty and full of fats.
Kirk Hinrich sucks. The end.

you know
it’s a very livable city. Has original theater productions, and pretty good orchestra, tons of very good restaurants (Wisconsin has lots and lots of better than average restaurants people can afford), and great brew pubs. What more could a 25 year old want?

Meh.
If I’m going to Wisconsin on a vacation, I’m going to Madison, as that’s about the only fun spot in the state. I’ve been to Madison a couple of times and it’s been a blast, especially on Halloween.
I went to High School in Milwaukee and outside of sneaking into the UWM campus here and there I was pretty bored.
Metal sharpens metal.
And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan
The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.
True, but LA can burn in hell for all I care. Give me SF in that equation.
And the whole country is fat, that’s not exactly reason to move out of a city.

certain areas are fatter than others. I grew up in a fat state (note: I'm not fat) and it's gross.

well it certainly doesn't help the farting situation
what “fat state” did you grow up in?

I lived in Milwaukee for a year
And it was quiet as hell there. Like a ghost town. But it is liveable
I'ts not hurting him..
You think people who live in Cleveland or Detroit, don’t know that Cleveland and Detroit blows? LeBron has spent quite a bit of time in Cleveland at this point, he knows it’s awful.

I'm a man but I think I'm IN LOVE
WITH NOAH!!! This guy is great man. Then he goes and let’s his play do the talking! Sign him for infinity!
he can talk all he wants…and he should, if it helps him to feed off of ‘hate.’
He definitely he should be great from now on out, he is pretty much the most hated (oops sorry, ‘honest’ and and ‘energetic’ in chicago) player in the league.
Joey Porter did it, and it helped him. Best thing for fans in cleveland to do would have been to just ignore it, treat him like any other player, because he uses it as a tool to inspire himself, and it showed yesterday. Everyone knows he’s an immature punk (but not stupid by any means), who’s game doesn’t even remotely compare to his mouth, but obviously is able to raise his game immeasurably through his emotions, cleveland fans played right into his fans
It would seem to me, that you feel threatened by the Eric Ghiaciuc acquisition.
…hands.

It would be fun to have the most hated player in the league on my favorite team.
Alas, Noah’s got a long road ahead of him to attain legendary hater’s ball status.

Bill Laimbeer set the bar pretty high for all future assholes
All your base are belong to Vinny.
WTF, VDN, WTF?
He's probably the most hated player in Cleveland
Alas, Cleveland isn’t the entire United States. Noah, as others said, has a way to go to be the most hated player. Kevin Garnett isn’t exactly likable anymore [and I was a fan of him all throughout the championship season too … and like a year after that … but … ugh, he’s just devolved].
Also, Noah’s good. He’s probably like the 5th-ish best C in the league, and getting better. I don’t know if he’s an immature punk as much as just honest with his opinions. So sometimes he says controversial things. Oh well?
Noah is AWESOME. Like, Noah was one of my favorite players coming out of the draft, and I am immeasurably happy he’s on the Bulls. I’d probably be a fan if he was on any other team … but I’m happy he’s on the Bulls.
Go Rockets/Nets[CDR]/Bucks[Jennings]!
This second ‘round’ of comments though, since he’s heading back to chi-town and most likely won’t be back, simply smacks of butthurt.
It would seem to me, that you feel threatened by the Eric Ghiaciuc acquisition.
…still, you gotta like the bad blood in these playoffs series a la Heat/Celtics Cavs/Bulls, although I would Noah rather trash talk the cavs players individually or call them out as a team more rather than the city stuff. I’m sure most of the Cavs players don’t really care about that, doesn’t concern them, and none of ‘em are from cleveland anyways so why should they care… Most NBA players aren’t like back in the day where players associated with their cities more often…they’re more individualistic today in a lot of ways.
If he kept calling them out as a team then there would be much, much more bad blood on the court, which would be cool. Right now I’m sure don’t think they like each other much, but nothing like what it could be if things got ugly between players in the media and on the court. I mean, fans booing a player isn’t really a big deal.
It would seem to me, that you feel threatened by the Eric Ghiaciuc acquisition.

I bet he's being asked about it!
These comments don’t come out of the aether!
Go Rockets/Nets[CDR]/Bucks[Jennings]!
yeah i'm sure they are
giving him a chance to follow up – or as david aldridge said on tnt “apologize” (for which i saw no need, honestly).
kinda like with his comments re: KG… i’m sure he was asked about it and gave his honest opinion, and it’s being portrayed like he just came out with it.
