I don't need to rehash all the stupid things Vinny has done this year.  The random timeouts, putting pargo in, etc.  But given what he's done, plus the mi dseason drop in talent and injuries, wouldn't you all have expected somewhere well below .500 for this year? 

I guess my point is, if, given the injuries etc, we should have done worse, the only conclusion is that Vinny had some positive impact. 

so Injuries (negative) plus trade (negative) plus overall talent (positive) plus vinny(????) = 41-41

We've all been watching him screw up left and right with actual game management, so what the hell is he doing right?  Is he some sort of motiviational God, who's only purpose is to (maybe unwittingly) inspire Noah and Rose to raise their games to even higher highs?  To a degree that it outweighs his bonehead coaching moves?  That seems a little far-fetched to me, but what the hell else is there?
