Gar Forman Issues Statement
Nothing too much, but it's nice to see that there is someone in the front office with some type of ability to not look like a complete fool amongst controversy.
Forman definitely messed up during the lead up to Gordon's free agency and during December with Del Negro, but he seems to be taking the right approach this time around.

It's done perfectly
Makes them look like they care so much
If the Bulls don’t make the playoffs I won’t need to watch basketball, its on to basketball.

Anyone else read between the lines like so?
The Bulls have a full and complete understanding of what took place, but, as requested by all parties, will address the attendant issues with the participants after the season is over
by firing Vinny Del Negro.
What a great day today has been for me even though I injured my neck and am currently wearing a collar.
On the bright side I get to ingest oxycontin and some other good stuff for pain so I’m flying even higher than usual with the Bulls victory. Today has been almost perfect, The Cubs rallied to pull one out, as usual the sun is brightly shining here in Tucson with temps in the low 80’s, the Bulls against all odds have made the playoffs, Tyrus is playing again and the best news of all based on Gar’s not so cryptic remarks that these issues will be resolved right after the season is that Vinny will soon be history.
Especially since revised versions of the incident now have Vinny as the instigator of the physical contact. Based on their recent play, both Rose and Noah deserve to be all-stars so the Cavs will not be able to coast in this series. I see them taking 6 games to put our dynamic duo away, but not without a fight similar to last year’s Celtic battles.
I also feel had we kept Tyrus and Fish (with Fish getting lots of minutes at the 3) the Bulls would have had a chance to actually go 7 and possibly even squeeze by the LeBrons, although I’m sure the NBA officials would never allow that to happen. Instead of Warrick and Murray we would have had a pretty strong 7 man rotation with Fish and Kirk sharing minutes at the 2.
July is going to tell the fans if all the front office’s manipulations were worth it so Reinsdorf better be willing to loosen the purse strings to compete for the top free agents. After Rose and Noah demonstrate their max skills in prime time, I think Chicago may become a popular place to land, especially if Deng can awake out of his late season slumber, Kurt becomes Kirk once again and Pargo is allowed to fall out of the rotation.
Go Bulls, Go Joakim, Go Derrick, Go Taj, Go Kurt, Go JJ and last of all, Vinny just please go.

If you think the Bulls are going to take the Cavs to 6 or 7 games.
Then why is it good news that Vinny is being fired? That might be a guy you want to hold onto imo, if he makes the Cavs series an actual series.
It’s not a bad thing to have the coach against management. Phil Jackson was against management back in the day, and he used that to unite with the players.

Phil Jackson was a great coach surrounded by world class assistants.
The Bulls coach is a novice flying by the seat of his pants which are usually down around his ankles in crunch time. The Bulls win because they have talented players that can overcome Vinny’s lack of knowledge. I would rather see Lindsey Hunter coach them in the playoffs. What does Vinny add in terms of x’s and o’s that can’t be supplied by hundreds of other more qualified coaches?
