Hilarious Noah Moment! 57.6 Left in the 3rd.

From tonight's game against the Raptors...

57.6 Seconds left in the third, with Hedu at the line for the Raptors, the camera catches Noah on the sideline, coaching Vinny on coaching... the dialouge is hard to pick up, but goes something like this...

Noah: (about to enter the game) Okay, what do you want out there? Where do you want us?

Vinny: (dismissivly mumbles inaudible cliche)

Noah: (as if talking to a small child) Okaaayyy, What else?

Camera cuts back to Hedu lobbing a brick towards the back rim. Noah enters the game, still talking to Vinny, Noah turns away from Vinny, to face the camera, and the first word you can read off of his lips is "Fuck..." it sounds vagely like the sentance is "He doesn't fucking listen" Noah procedes to alert his teamates to the new defensive matchups...

I would love it if somebody had a clearer audio and was better able to pick up what was actually said, but the expressions were priceless. Anybody with DVR, it's worth going back to.

I'm just glad

I’m not the only one who caught it. It seems to concisely summarize everything great about Noah and everything wrong with Vinny.

He only has a handful of games left

I wonder who will be brought in as HC next year?

Although....

At some point, Vinny has to get credit for winning with this team. I still think he can’t coach in crunch time, or in the playoffs at all. But if we win two more games, or the Raptors lose two (more likely) than Vinny get’s to say he took two subpar teams to the playoffs. And this year, it’s despite some tough breaks and injuries. And a handful of trades that made us worse.

Or you could say that Rose did it, despite Vinny….

Get credit?

I do not think this team is subpar at all…this is still a pretty good team…when Rose and Noah are on, this team should not lose…with Thomas and Salmons still here, this was a solid team that should have competed for the 5 or 6 spot in the abysmal east, but they seemed out of the race completely until raps choked

Vinny deserves credit like Rex took the Bears to the Super Bowl.

You dont want Vinny to lose you games and just manage it, but he doesn’t , he loses games, this team even with all the injuries should be fighting for a 6 or 7 seed in the pitiful east.

You would think Noah would be Vinny's idol, especially after he got tossed and

Joachim told his teammates “Let’s win this one for VInny, Yeah that’s right. Let’s win this one for Vinny”, whereupon he proceeded to ROFLOL along with all the other players. I don’t know what he was expecting. I believe VDN explicitly told him to play D, rebound, and keep thrusting with energy. That in VInny’s mind, covers all the bases.

If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.

I'm all in

lets win these next 2 for Vinny, lol

I think Kirk said

“lets win it for Vinny.” After the game, Noah was quoted quoting Kirk, if that makes any sense.

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.

Damnit, now I found one drawback

to turning the TV sound off and listening to radio.

Oh, I'm sure it's still worth it.

For example, on the radio, neither Bill or Chuck insist on saying “Boy, He just buggywhipped that right in there!”

I would love to never hear that again. But I’m too tied to the pause, rewind, and slow motion of my DVR to give that up, because obviously I can’t do the same if I’m listening to the radio.

I've yet to hear 'hard hat and lunch pail'

so that’s nice.

Pretty sure Neil Funk

is the only person old enough to know wtf ‘buggywhipped’ even means.

Joakim Noah

for player/coach. I bet free agents would rather play for him than VDN.

I don't know how to put it up.

Sorry, I would have if I could.

Noah is something else

He really sparks the team and is seriously funny:

"Who wants to talk about something that happened last month? Talk about guys who play hurt and try to do whatever they can to win a basketball game. Look at Taj (Gibson, with 11 points and 13 rebounds on his aching plantar fasciitis), look at Kirk. Brad is old and he’s getting shots in his (butt) just to play a basketball game for two months now. Talk about that. That’s what he has to do to get ready to play." (From Sam Smith)
