the Jazz have used their 3’s when the Bulls were making a run or gaining momentum. Almost using their 3’s for defense, forcing the Bulls to take 1 step forward, 2 steps back.

The Rockets are a small team to begin with, so they got away with Brad and Taj playing a lot. The Pacers suck. He would have done a better job defending Randolph and Blatche, so I’ll agree with you on those games.

Yet another game that we lose in large part because they can shoot 98% from 3 and we shoot 2% from 3.
The three point shot is the single most momentum giving/taking play in basketball, save the ally-oop. When the opponents have beutiful intercourse with the 3 point shot night in and night out, we. just. cant. win.

This helps ensure that VDN doesn’t come back next year. Once the trades went down, it should have been clear we would be worse (Noah being out made it even worse for sure). 3 point shooting I find is a bigger problem than our defense. other teams absolutley swish from threes, and when we make ours, ours arent momentus. there is a big difference between 3s and momentum 3s, and the opponents have been shooting momentum 3s against us these last couple games.

After watching this "brief slide"
it is clear to me that before the bulls think about any big FA, or reloading their roster, they NEED a GOOD coach. Vinny is beyond a dumbass. I’m thinking Byron, Avery, or anyone really but this team needs a proven coach that has a system. The upside of this losing streak is that it nearly guarantees Vinny isn’t coming back.

They don't run any plays? There's no communication on defense, all they do is take lots of jumpers.

Similar to what I was thinking. I nearly ripped on Vinny all night, but then thought
What the fuck is he supposed to do? Rose cant go 48 minutes every night. And the rest of the team is horribly in consistent at being good. Brad Miller and Taj Gibson are bench players (good bench players, but bench players nonetheless), Kirk is a tweener. Rose is a star, yes, but he cannot do it alone. And Deng isn’t even playing consistantly anymore. We don’t have Noah, probably for the rest of the year. Other than that its Warrick (underperforming), Pargo (underperforming), Richard (should be a 12th man), Murray (underperforming), and James Johnson, who is at least doing the best he can.
The Bulls will be extrordinarily lucky to get 3 more wins this year. No playoffs? Big problem. No playoffs = no James/Wade/Bosh/Phil Jackson.

Vinny has no business coaching, that’s being said, why is james johnosn not getting any playing time and slow and old ass miller does? Why do the other rookie get more than him? we’re playing without our starting center and our starting power forward (who wouldn’t really start for many other teams) had 3 turnovers and fouled out in 13 minutes.

Ben gordon was right when he said in the beginning of the season as a piston that no one on the bulls have the guts or balls to take big shots or at least make them, blame that on the management for putting these players on this team.

And no, I wouldn’t bet my house on his improvement, but I’m open to the possibility with the change in scenery.
I just don’t think you can expect a huge jump in play following a mid-season trade, no matter how different the coach is.
