i know this much. deng had an efficient 23 points tonight and held gay to
17 points on 17 shooting possessions. so deng did more to help his team win than gay did. i dont care if he doesnt “take over” in crunch time. the game is 48 mins long, and if its a close game then all the points were important, even the ones you cant remember.

the team has 90 points on 72 shots. rose has 18 on 18 shots. hes the only one who is
creating any kind of shots, but since hes not making them, what good are they?

What you're seeing is the consequence of not having an offensive structure
that can produce some shots going to the basket, looks for people in their sweet spot, etc. There’s no nuance to what the bulls run. Everyone know Derrick will have to ball trying to attack the basket. That’s why there’s 2-3 people waiting for him there. That he ends up with so many misses should be obvious. If you’re just relying on someone to beat 2-3 people and still shoot efficiently, you’re asking for too much.

I will repeat what I predicted right after the trade and Noah's plantar faciitis flared up
Without Joachim, Taj’s defensive weaknesses will be exposed when going up against talented power forwards. He has been destroyed in his last 4 games, including the win over Portland (Aldrige had 32 points) and Warrick is non-factor defensively as well as having become the invisible man offensively recently. Do those who answered yes in the “Is Hakim better than Tyrus” fanpost want to amend and reconsider your initial observations? Just asking. If your answer is still yes, I recommend you rush to the emergency room and get an immediate brain scan, just to check if any of your neurons are still firing.
If Kirk is hobbled that means we can start, God help us, either Pargo or Flip (1 for 7) tonight. The bigger picture is this.
Even with a max free agent, I dont think this bulls team is a contender. We gave away too many parts for nothing.
All we had to do was trade kirk and we would still have BG and/or TT .
