Im not a sneaker head like probably some of you
but i do enjoy, every once in awhile going to the nike id website, converse or addidas custom site and just trying to make some cool looking shoes that match my personality. My very first nike shoe design i made into a wallpaper, and last year my lil sister found it, replicated it on the nike id website and got them for me on my b-day…it wasnt my greatest design or anything, but its still cool having those shoes and ill admit they look kik ass, and the performance is better than my converse Four3 shoes or my addidas “team bulls” superstar shoes…..
So i guess im jsut saying if u guys have never thought about doing this, have never done this, or just havent done it in a while, u should go to those sites and just mess around…since u guys are sneaker heads you could probably design some crazy shoes…u should also then post the pics here, id definetly take a look

okay i couldnt figure it out so ill just post the links
these are the ones my sister ended up getting made for me, i have some other designs in my nike id locker, ill try to get those saved as wallpapers and upload those too if u want to see some of the other ones, although i use similar colors, i have a reason for all of what i did with the shoes….i think some of the later designs illustrate it better
i call them “d. hawk onair” shoes, which is a play on my full name, the d stands for a fancy way of writing THE and also for my favorite concept of basketball, defense. the o4 represents my favorite number (4) and the letter o looks like a zero and also reminds me of the element o (oxygen, or air) while also reprsenting the o in my first name….. the color green is my favorite color, the color red reprsents the bulls, and black is both the bulls secondary color and my second favorite color. THeres a picture of a hawk on the toungue of the shoe….

that is pretty sick. I like how u made the red and green real subtle cuz Im not big on bright colors (im a grey, black, dk blue guy) and i hate lot of designs.

i first tried making red the prominant color
but i just didnt like the way it looked, to bright for my taste, then i used this dark green, which i thought looked better but when i added red, it made my brother and sister think, thats all christmassy, so got rid of that, the black as the base color did a good job it thought….i wish i could design other parts of the shoe too, not just the colors

Im with u…the only red shoe that looks good are those adidas low tops and maybe Scottie’s 1994 kicks.

yea i liked those better
the first designs were already saved to my computer, the others were in my “nikeid locker” and i just fetched them this morning…the first desgins are exactly that, my first time playing with the nikeid program, and i saved it to the cpu and my sister found it and got them made, so i actually own the first designs, but like i said, i had made some better looking ones. Addidas has i think the most indepth designs (in the sense of how much u can customize it) converse are the most basic (but being a hinrich fan i always wanted to make hinrich like custom shoes, excpet the shoes he wears werent customizable for some reason) i think the nike shoes though are the better overall shoes (i say this cuz the nike id shoes are more expensive).
Like i said u should chek out those sites and make ure own, ill definetly want to take a look at what u make…maybe someone will buy u ure custom shoes for ur b-day ;)
