Johnson has tear of plantar fascia in right foot
Get well Luol Deng. Make sure the Bulls "Doc of the Year" doesn't misdiagnose your um, still fractured right leg.

Jesus Christ
this is awful. We can never catch a break, can we? It can never just be a bruise.
"Where are the FUCKING TWINKIES?"
they've been pretty lucky with Rose injuries

Maybe Joe Alexander can use some motivation...
The Bulls basically have no small forward with Luol Deng out indefinitely with a strained right calf.
Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.
Better than a 3 guard lineup - play Warric at PF
He is too small for PF anyway and is already rebounding like weak ass SF.
meant to say... play him at SF
weak ass writing

Tonight...
They actually should play Warrick at SF, as the Pistons are pretty weak in the front court…but Vinny will probably use their weakness as his excuse for trotting out that weak ass line-up.

thank you very much bulls; i just threw up all over my Tyrus Thomas Youth Jersey.

So as best I can tell
1. They take JJ back to the locker room, so they’ve probably diagnosed the problem, yet they aloow him to come out and play meaningless minutes in a game that was totally out of hand. Thereby turning a potentially minor injury into a potentially major one.
2. Then, they give him an MRI, determine it’s a major injury, and still allow him to go out and warm up for the next game.
These guys are fucking stupid.
I'm totally confused by this
the article made it sound pretty bad yet he still played tonight against the Pistons! Just weird.
Joakim on whether he ever tried tennis: "I played a little bit. If anybody on the Bulls wanted to play me, I would kick their ass."
I know
he even tried to throw down a dunk on Maxiell. He didn’t look hurt at all.

I'm surprised he played if it's a tear
IF it’s a tear.
Doc of the Year and all that.

i just dont get how an inflammation of the plantar fascia can so hobble a guy like noah,
while james johnson can run and jump 3 feet in the air with a torn plantar fascia.
"Oooohhh, cat in the wall, eh? Now you're talkin' my language."
it's just something with the nature of the plantar fascia
in a quick search I couldn’t find the reasoning why. During the past White Sox season, though, Carlos Quentin also battled plantar fasciitis and i distinctly remember him commenting on how he heard a pop in his foot while rounding second which was deemed a good thing as it may have meant that he tore his plantar fascia. So yah, for whatever reason a tear is preferred. Perhaps once it tears it heals quickly and no longer is a source of nagging pain.
