If that's the case
then he’ll be with this team forever because no one will want him.

OK I'll be first to say it
JJ isn’t doing that bad of a job on Lebron
How will VDN lose this game?
a. bad substitution
b. bad timeout
c. bad inbounds play
d. yelling “attack, attack”
e. all of the above
by Basketball Smurf on Mar 19, 2010 8:53 PM CDT reply actions
a bulls player will miss a chance to cut it to a 1 possession game in the final minute
and the cavs will seal it with free throws
that’s what i predict
it will be either
Hinrich or Pargo missing an ill-advised three or turning the ball over…
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
cuz every damn person there is some paid business man that dont even watch the game
they just get free ticketts

flip
wow, you will never replace fish in my eyes
bring back hinrich and taj
vdn always waits too long to go with the starters in the 4th

Flip Murray must be playing with Pargo a bit too much
Because he is starting to jack up shots
by RogersPark Kris on Mar 19, 2010 8:58 PM CDT reply actions
I saw Kirk get up
and figured he was replacing Flip.. but no.
Fucking 3 guard lineup.
"Where are the FUCKING TWINKIES?"
ok, this is awesome...
Player A is 6-11 from the field, with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and a block.
Player B is 4-12 from the field, with 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
Player A is James Johnson. Player B is LeBron James.

Mo and Lebron have more together than the entire Bulls team
Nice to see us taking care of the ball (so far)
that is pretty impressive
JJ is outplaying a hungover LBJ

on a side note, remember when you said JJ sucked?

he didn't suck so much, he just couldn't shoot

JJ's confidence
started to go up around the first time he started for Luol…

Acie Law
is playing better than Kirk in the last two weeks. And he’s paid literally ten times less.
Something’s wrong with that…
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
Bulls have the lead.
OK I don't know shit about basketball.
by SoulEater7 on Nov. 5, 2009 9:51 PM CST
Acie Law is really, really good.
Because opposing teams have zero scouting reports on him. It’s like people don’t know who he is.
Also, without any of the defensive skill.
So, Warrick is nothing like Tyrus at all.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:07 PM CDT up reply actions
yeah, the comparison doesn't fit
even though its repeated again and again
by Basketball Smurf on Mar 19, 2010 9:09 PM CDT up reply actions
JJ should be coming in when Lebron does
but VDN is an idiot
well that explains everything: youre blind.
"Oooohhh, cat in the wall, eh? Now you're talkin' my language."
JJ is prob not in because of warrick..
but id get rid of hinrich and put JJ as PG
JJ should've went in for Murray
Law should’ve stayed in

LeBron
is a little slow. Why take that extra half-step inside the arc? There’s literally no difference between those two shots.
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
because going to Duke for one year really would have changed that?
I think it’s just him getting that tunnel vision.
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
everytime we call a timeout on those
we never get it but other teams do
Please
let JJ be in for Murray when this game comes back.
Vinny: "[Thrust] means pace, it means getting the ball out, it means getting your back to the sidelines, it means extending your outlets, it means getting the ball up the court into our early offense with plenty of time."
in the extreme likelihood
that we get a high lottery pick.
Evan Turner is my choice.

Kirk

"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
substitute
“LeBron” with “Kirk”
and substitute “falcon punch” with “execute” and we’ve got a deal
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
So nice of James to talk to the bench, then draw a foul.
It’s so easy to understand why people hated Jordan.
Acie should be running PG right now
not Kirk and his 5 for 17 shooting night
It is for anyone
not named Kirk.
OK I don't know shit about basketball.
by SoulEater7 on Nov. 5, 2009 9:51 PM CST
7 ast do not indicate running the offense
He’s over dribbling and not getting the ball to the open man or setting up the offense
7 assists would imply setting up some kind of offense.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:20 PM CDT up reply actions
You act like he's got 18 ast or something
7 ast in almost 40 mins
With a team shooting under 40%
I seem to recall hearing something about all these crappy shooters being to blame for Derrick’s low assist totals…
Ok forget the ast
Is Kirk playing the PG position well tonight? No. JJ did a better job of that tonight then Hinrich. Then he doesn’t hit open shots on top of that. I would’ve rather seen Law
I'm not acting like anything, you just have no nuance or logic when it comes to discussing basketball.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:23 PM CDT up reply actions
No, no one had a good game besides Taj, JJ was decent.
This team sucks, but you act like everything hinges on Kirk. He’s taking the shots that the teams’ two best players would normally do.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:27 PM CDT up reply actions
You're the one defending him not me
I said I would of rather seen Law at PG. When Kirk has 10 pts in 40 mins and is 0-7 from 3pt land, I think my points are nuanced enough. I’m talking about Kirk tonight. No one else.
No, nuance would mean you'd be bashing Flip and Pargo just as much.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:30 PM CDT up reply actions
No it would mean that
I would rather see Law playing PG considering that Hinrich isn’t playing well. My original comment has nothing to do with garbage players. it has to do with Mr. Untouchable.
Two guards play at the same time.
I’d rather have Law at SG since his best apparent talent is getting to the hoop and scoring. You can’t run an offense when your best weapon is Taj Gibson.
by Ozzie Montana on Mar 19, 2010 9:34 PM CDT up reply actions
Well that we can
agree on. I wouldn’t mind seeing Law maybe play some 2 when Rose gets back because we need scoring and he only played 10 mins tonight. I just wouldn’t mind him playing more at either position.
Acie hasn't been great as a PG
He’s been shooting great. Why not look for him to play SG where he only has to worry about setting himself up?
He didn't shoot well in the second half.
Other than that, I think he was alright. He had a hand in several of those LBJ TOs. I also would like to see Acie get more time, but it’s not Kirk’s PT I have a problem with.
since when
should 3 or 4 horrible looking three with next to no chance of going in not count as turnovers?
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
Since they don't
That all gets covered in the shooting like crap part. You don’t get to double count it to make it sound like he did everything wrong tonight.
he didn't play too badly
but it all comes back to the fact that he’s supposedly the “veteran leadership” on the team. This little stretch here should prove, once and for all, that Kirk is not someone a successful franchise can be built on.
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
How many years has it been since anyone thought the Bulls should be "built on" Kirk?
Even back when this was the up-and-coming team it was looked at as a Pistons-type model sum is greater than the parts.

JJ is a walking turnover
Kurt is a walking 24 second shot clock violation
LeBron is a dancing douche
VDN is a walking dead man
Seriously
Does Mike James teach LeBron anything?
by Option27 on Mar 19, 2010 9:23 PM CDT reply actions 1 recs
How could he?
a) He’s not that great a coach
b) They’re too concerned about letting Lebron run everything to challenge him on anything. Makes it tough to teach.
who the fuck was he looking at on the bench?
seriously?
“yeah, fuck you Acie Law! Now you know Joe Alexander!”
"I want people to fear me"- Derrick Rose.
Hilarious.
They had to eek out a win against Acie Law, Kirk Hinrich, Brad Miller…in short, against one of the least talented teams in memory.
Yeah, represent!

eh, if rose were playing the cavs might have looked a little more focused.

The only people Vinny ever gets after
are talented young players like JJ and T2. Whereas our vets can suck balls with impunity.
The poster formerly known as Freethefro.
I hope the Bulls don't do something stupid like signing Wade next year or letting Vinny go.
We don’t need a Rose/Wade backcourt next season when we have 2 veterans who each made 5 of 17 tonight. Flip showed what a clutch player he was by drowing that 3 as time expired.
The Bulls might have won if they went with a 3 guard offense in the 4th quaarter with Pargo, Hinrich and Murray. But than, maybe not.
If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.

Warrick was 3 for 6, Flip was 4 of 16 until he hit that last second shot.

The Bulls reserves have played very well and kept the games close against superior teams lately.
Well, some of the reserves played very well and JJ looks like the Bulls may have made the right choice, picking him at 16. It’s amazing what actually getting some playing time can do to your confidence and learning curve.

LAST YEAR FOR HINRICH
I sick and tired of kirk hinrich, he sucks, doesn’t get to the freethrow line, stays on the top of the key and shoots 3 pointers all game(0-7) and is the most overpaid starting point guard or guard in the nba. This better be his last year with the bulls and i still don’t understand why the bulls management didn’t trade him or couldn’t trade him for the 2 time in 2 years, the bulls could of had more to spend on next year freeagency or trade him for a good shooting guard. You trying to tell me that the bulls couldn’t trade him to lakers, portland, or boston for a player that contract would expire this year, bullshit. Stop playing favorites and let the bum go, he reach his potential and let rose assume his role as the real captain to this team
If they use Hinrich in a sign and trade
or in a straight player deal (and perhaps send up to $3million because he’s overpaid) and take back more salary than they send, IT’S THE SAME THING AS HAVING TRADED HIM BEFORE.
They can do this because they have cap space.
