Tyrus Thomas has been a big addition for us coming in here at the trade deadline. He's a rebounder. He brings athleticism and that's huge for us. He's still such a young player with such a promising future. It's great, not only for this team now, but for the future of this franchise.
Tyrus and I have a lot to relate to because I was in the same situation as him when I came out of Chicago and I was able to turn my career around. I've had some success and I have a promising future as well. I just try to encourage him all the time and try to share some of the knowledge that I've gained over the years.

Don't get me wrong because I'm a fan of Tyson Chandler and I didn't want him traded
But “a promising future”? He’s only 27 but he’s played the last two years like he’s 37 and looks like he’s falling apart.
Be reasonable, Tyson

Oh, you mean when Chris Paul saved your career?

LOL
Joakim on whether he ever tried tennis: "I played a little bit. If anybody on the Bulls wanted to play me, I would kick their ass."
I love them both
prodigal sons. We can name Taj T3, but first he needs to be maligned properly before he gets my sympathetic love.

T30
In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).
Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.
I had always wondered before the signing of Ben Wallace what damage those two would have done.
I would have to think even though Tyson was considered a bust and over paid. I mean Wallace turned out to be worse so.. of corse that means the Bulls don’t draft Noah the next season. They wouldn’t have any post scoring but then again they never did. Block party. Skiles wouldn’t have ever played them together though. Oooh the Baby Bulls days.
Signing Kirk was a better option than signing TT

Bullshit
when I came out of Chicago and I was able to turn my career around
Tyson’s career is on the same path as when he was with the Bulls…he got paid as a Bull, traded to New Orleans, had two decent seasons (Noah type numbers, without the Noah intangibles) and Tyrus is now having the worst season of his NBA career…
One thing he and Tyrus have in common; they are both busts as lottery picks the Bulls traded for…
Thomas, Miller, Salmons, James, Pargo, Gray, MLE, and (there is no LLE thanks to the Pargo signing) will not be here with a Max Free Agent...don't get too attached.
By what measure is Thomas having the worst year of his career...........................

I'm thinking he meant Tyson is having the career-worst season.
Because Tyrus is having his best season.

I don't believe that. He really dislikes Thomas and has already said numerous times he's having his worst season.
He’ll say his numbers are inflated by a string of good games in Charlotte, they’re already coming back down, and by the end of the season, he will be having his worst season ever.

Well, Tyrus was having a career-best season numbers-wise (SSS blah blah) before the trade.
So, whatever. Tyrus rulez.

I’m D2.0, and I suck. So whenever something positive (heh) is written about Tyrus or Ben Gordon, I will swoop in and remind everyone how much I suck.
I blame the rest of you for not getting the message. I’m with you, D2.0!

Same thing can be said about you
Whenever something negative is written about Thomas or Gordon, there’s a quick “They’re not Bulls anymore so who cares!” sentiment coming from you. That, or, if they just had a good game, you’ll remind everyone how dumb Bulls management is for letting them go.
Btw, Ben Gordon sucks.
