I'm diggin' the Bucks, or maybe anyone that can beat up the Celtics like this. Gotta love this quote from Jennings on the hard foul he got from Big Baby: "It was a hard foul. They are known for punking people, but they weren't going to come in here and just punk me."

Andrew Bogut, light 'em up, light 'em up...

Tony Kukoc, light ‘em up, light ’em up. Michael Redd, light ’em up, light ’em up. Who’s gonna win? The Bucks, The Bucks!

I was watching these highlights last night

and couldn’t help but smile at Jennings and Bogut. Jennings was talking smack to Garnett while Bogut was abusing their bigs all game. Props to them.

I heart Jennings.

Even though he isn’t as good as Bogut. :P

me too

i share the same birthday as him and im a lefty too.

at least ill have someone to root for in the playoffs if the bulls keep plummetting

by sin on Mar 10, 2010 8:25 PM CST up reply actions

yeah, I liked that too

plus you had Tyreke Evans calling out Noc on the bench for a poor shot (crazy he’d do that!) last week.

I don’t say I wish I had either over Rose, but I wouldn’t mind if Rose was more of a jerk.

I'd rather have Noc than Tyreke Evans.

But that’s a given, right?

that's why we need Noah

remember this quote?

“We’re not really playing with a lot of pride and respect for the jersey.”

by Belize on Mar 10, 2010 5:12 PM CST up reply actions

I think it's time Bogut gets recognized as one of the best players in the NBA

21.1 PER and elite defense? That’s unheard of outside Duncan, Garnett and Howard.

by YaoPau on Mar 10, 2010 11:43 AM CST reply actions

Big men are usually slow at developing so he could be one of the best centers in the league.

Yeah if he keeps it up the Bucks are going to have a legit core with Jennings and Bogut. He beasted Noah so that can’t be good for the Bulls.

by SoulEater7 on Mar 10, 2010 12:11 PM CST up reply actions

He's healthy

But maybe just playing through pain since they’re good now.

12/31/08: Fire Vinny Del Negro.(upd: 1/7/10)

is yao not considered an elite defender?

I love how baby fell over after the dunk

Bucks have been fun to watch these past few days

I'm cuckoo for Kukoc!!!

Yep, even though he wasn't the one getting karate chopped to the nutsack

As evidenced in the picture.

by Illini15 on Mar 10, 2010 8:15 PM CST up reply actions

Actually...

(I don’t know why I’m going to provide this, because I don’t like him on the court at all.)

He took a Southwest flight last fall and got sandwiched next to my cousin and his wife (not between). He got free drinks being a pro player and had the waitresses get him for my cuz and his wife. My cousin is a big Celtics fan but also a big Duke fan. Davis and Thomas et al. smashed Duke in 2006. They had a good time talking about it. They all walked off the plane wasted. Switched shirts, took pictures, etc.

In the past 10 years, just four team owners have not paid a luxury tax and are not on pace to pay one this year: Donald Sterling, Jerry Reinsdorf, Chris Cohen (Golden State), Bob Johnson (Charlotte).

Two owners’ teams averaged an operating income of over +$10 million per year while their teams have lost over 60% of their games: Donald Sterling and Jerry Reinsdorf.

by tyger1147 on Mar 10, 2010 9:08 PM CST up reply actions

That's a pretty awesome story.

He seems like a good guy off the court, but I can’t stand him on it. Every guy on that team walks around thinking they’re the Second Coming of Christ out there, so I guess he’s just one of the many guys on that team that’s a complete tool.

no, it's cool.

like i said, I felt dirty defending him. but the pictures of he and my cousin with droopy eyes after a 2 hour flight are too hilarious

Jennings

got an attitude. It’s kind of refreshing. He and Derrick are going to be really fun to watch the next few years.

but but but but

we want boston to win more, so they rank up higher (thus increasing possibility of the bulls facing them in the playoffs), and we want bucks to lose more (thus increasing the possibility of the bulls making the playoffs). no “diggin’ the bucks” allowed!

Other than Rose, the Bulls are not only losing, they are losing in a very unentertaining way

unless you count JJ’s erratic but fun to watch whirling dervish style of play.

The Bucks have lost only 1 of 11 since Salmons provided the missing piece to a puzzle they were trying to solve by giving them an extra shooter and defender and are 16-4 over their last 20 games. We have Vinny to lead us and they have Skiles. Does anyone think the Bulls are going to pass them in the playoff race? Now that he no longer has key players to cover for his utter cluelessness the emporer better grab a robe so as to not further embaress himself.

As MrSportsKnowitAll so painfully pointed out in his latest posting, Both Fish and TT have been their new team’s most effective performer in terms of how the team performs with them on the court. But than our management also gave the Bucks 2 2nds and the right to swap first round picks next year for Fish and all we get is Warrick whose defense should make those who criticised Ben Gordon’s failings ready to take torches and pitchforks over to the Bulls front office. This has gotten to a point I find myself even longing for the loss of the White Panther.

Noah please come back. Go see a Shaman or a witch doctor if it would help. I think Brad has given his all but how much does he have left in the tank, playing all those extra minutes with little support.

If you can't answer a man's arguments, all is not lost. You can still call him vile names.

That's one thing I don't get about the front office.
But than our management also gave the Bucks 2 2nds and the right to swap first round picks next year for Fish

I know Fish had a contract they probably don’t want, but he is filling a huge need for that team. Why do you throw in two second round picks? I totally understand the right to swap 1st rd picks. But to ‘throw in two’ 2nd round picks headed into a year when you’ll only have 6 players under contract, I’d think you’d value that 2nd rounder and look to try to add another one. That’s just me.

by kingj41 on Mar 10, 2010 2:11 PM CST up reply actions

Agreed

The Bucks got a steal. 2nd round picks aren’t worth much, but still.

Brad Miller is god.

there was no foul.

That game was great.

You had Bogut wrecking Davis and Jennings showing em up on the court and then yelling at/mocking KG on the way to the locker room. I looooove Brandon Jennings. Players with attitude have a spot in my heart

Metal sharpens metal.

And this guy right here understands and knows what leadership is all about: The coach, the hall of famer......... Dick Butka! George Ryan

The Bulls shrink like a dick in cold water.
