I usually try to stay optimistic when the Bulls are in these types of situations

But I don’t think it’s likely the Bulls come out with a win here without both Deng and Noah playing. I’ll be satisfied if we come out playing hard and wanting to win. Who knows? Maybe they’ll pull a W out of the magic hat.

Stacey said Joe Johnson

should be mentioned in the same vein as Lebron, Wade and Bosh. I’m sure it wasn’t an accident that he mentioned those three.

If JJ getting legitimate burn and figuring some things out is the only positive thing that happens from tonight, well good enough.

I’m going to try and take the longer view on tonight. Rose is dinged, Deng is out, Noah is out, and Taj is playing through pain. Also, Kurt is having one of his worst games of the year. So with all those things going on, best to just throw this game out in terms of being invested in the outcome.

JJ putting it together for a half is certainly encouraging.
